The course curriculum in NIT AGARTALA is well designed by our faculty members and often revised on the basis of students review. This curriculum prepares us for the real world applications . There are many practical labs in each Engineering branch which taught us very much .

- First year mess is not great at all .....
- The weather is unpredictable sometimes it starts raining sometimes too hot

There is no as such curriculum for which I choose the course ..I made some mistakes dispide after getting good marks in jee exam ..so finally I was to opt this btech course . And as I m in first year ..I don't have such experience of the course wise education quality here ...but I can tell as far I have heard from my seniors is good

- The placement scenario in the college is quite better irrespective of the location which is northeast. It was always a myth that the ratio would be lower.
- The average package for computer science department is really commendable and for the lower branches too, the companies do come.
Dislikes
- Healthcare facility of the college needs to be looked as it is quite poor.
- Hostel facility is poor as well as the food in the hostels too. Even there aren't many canteens in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum I chose is based on my JEE rank as I was getting Civil as the highest branch as per my rank. But, of course, it is suitable if one is preparing for the PSUs. The subjects included in the course are relevant for seeking the whole knowledge in the respective field. It lets us know in depth about building materials, transportation engineering, environment engineering as well as design of structures plays the most vital role in the whole course.

- The college had a good environment, proper facilities, no ragging culture, seniors and professors were very supportive.
Dislikes
- The placement of the department could be better.

The curriculum was pretty relevant in context to the present scenario. The practical approach along with proper theoretical explanation of every aspect of engineering, made the course a proper beginner's guide to civil engineering.

Coarse curriculum was good enough. There are 8 semesters in B.Tech and each semester has two exams - midterm(30marks ) and endterm (50 marks). Teaching methods were casual varies subject wise. The gaps between the exams is fair enough.

- I liked the big hostels for the first year students, the buildings are really new and the facilities are all working well.
Dislikes
- The admin section can be a bit well as they take a lot of time to resolve any problem.

The faculties of Civil dept are really professional and Strict in regarding to academics, the students and seniors are really helpful and friendly and the labs are really high level as many profs got fundings from govt. of India for their multiple projects.

- The campus life is very good and with every possible amenity provided to the students
- The people here are very nice and the overall atmosphere of this place is pretty good

- The administration is very loose ane lazy. However, after the new director had taken charge, things are improving.
- The distance factor makes ir difficult for us to travel to our home or to different colleges for any competetion
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is upto date as per the Indian and industry standards. The civil Engineering department is well equipped with good faculties and infrastructure. Civil Engineering is one of the most prestigious branch of NIT Agartala. Exams are held in timely manner and there is sufficient time between tests. The biggest area for improvement is the computer lab of civil engineering department

- Hostel facility provided for student that make easy for other states student

- College is more far from city, and expenses is too much
- Mess food is always a point of discussion because sometimes it's good sometimes it's too bad

My father is still working in construction companies So i have some interest in civil engineering that's why i choose this branch We have lab for practicals and trained teacher who support us always Some improvement is to be done by taking modern equipment, repair of old building, etc Although we have end term and mid term exam every semester once in 45-50 days . Exams are easy and taught topics come in exam

- Campus area is big and it is around 340 acre.
- Campus is full of greenery and will be great.

- Campus is beautiful but far away from city. You will feel bored after few months.
Course Curriculum Overview:
All the faculty members are well trained. In first year, courses for all branches are same. Course curriculum includes basic topics important for your further courses. Engineering physics, chemistry, mathemathics, basic electronics, basic electrical, introduction to programming (c language) , engineering graphics and english are taught in first year along with some lab work. Two semester in a year, each semester have mid term of 20 marks and end term of 50 marks and 30 marks for internal. Questions are quiet easy in examination.
