Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is informative and is relevant for competitive exams.. We start our course with the history or evolution of human beings till the modern day. We study modern west, history of india and other subjects.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my department is 14743 for second year.. This fee remains same for other categories except pwd.. The fee for pwd is 120..other year fees is 15498 for first year while for the third year fees remains same.

Campus Life

To be honest, the infrastructure provided is not up to the mark, it needs improvement. The library however is very vast and many books arr available. The classrooms are although provided with projectors but in some classes they don't work. There are various societies in the college, the overall environment is inclusive but somewhat political.

Admission

The admission procedure is through cuet.. I was getting LSR which is in south campus for BA program course.. However I wanted BA history so I opted for Ramjas which has an unmatched legacy of an excellent history department.

Faculty

To talk about my department, the faculty is very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding. Even the economics department is very disciplined which is a need.. While some departments like zoology is not active enough.

Interview Experience

Yess... The group discussion was smooth.. The topic of GD was if size mattered in success.. Moreover the interview was also very friendly however some questions were tricky and mind blowing, you should remain confident in this.

Night Life

The life of north campus is very rich... You have sudama chai, tom uncle maggie point, dolma aunty momos perfect hangout spots for foodlovers.. Students ride ulus at night.. Moreover the hostel timing maybe around 10 .. And the hostelers enjoy a lot.

Other Applied Colleges

Lady Shri Ram College for Women - [LSR] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (History)

It is an excellent college but is not co ed... I was looking for a co ed college.. Moreover LSR was located in south campus

Since this campusnis new and the placements cell is new, it is still trying and trying to make good industrial connections. Having the management college in the same campus helps as the same companies which comes to recruit them available our services too.

Bursting the bubble

Course Curriculum Overview:

The rise in mental health problems especially in an Indian society where even acknowledging such problems is considered a tabboo and are often ignored and passed off as irrelevant or unnecessary, I strongly felt the need to take part in creating awareness, as someone who has experienced these problems firsthand. The curriculum of this course in this college comes with a lot of benefits, apart from the syllabus, the exposure, the constant seminars and one on one sessions our faculty, our society provides is truly commendable and helps us in learning about problems in real time, preparing us for the outside world. Frequent class tests are taken by our teachers to make sure we are learning thoroughly. The difficulty of exams i would say is moderate, and carefully crafted to cater towards our naivety.

Placement Experience:

Given that I'm a fresher I dont have much knowledge about the placement of the college. However during the initial weeks of my college I did see seniors geared up for placement interviews and projects. I also heard that college has average placement package of 5-6 LPA. The max was around 20 LPA. Also one of the alumni was within top 10 ranking of CSE exam conducted by UPSC.

As I am in language course. We learn it from the basics as we learn English or other language in our childhood. Professors teach with expressions. They not use english in very much quantity to teach german . They directly teach german from basic as to child. We also get opportunity to meet with peolple from embassy or people from Germany itself. We get chances to visit embassy of the language we are learning and also there are lectures and speaks of people from Germany and authors from Germany..

My preference list was like this 1. SRCC 2. Hindu College 3. Hansraj College 4. Kirorimal college 5.
