A University with a true Purpose

The fee is really expensive, but the quality of experience and exposure that we get here is indeed good. It has very well bridged the gad between industry and the curriculum and that proves to be helpful.

The Course Curriculum is designed in association with IBM. The industrial requirements are very well blended in the semester course throughout. To the total grading, 50% marks are of the count from the marks scored in the End-Semester exams, 20% from the Mid-Semester exams, and rest 30% is taken from the internal assessments.

UPES has a statistical ever-raising graph in terms of placements. Over 95% students get selected for on-campus placements. There are a lot of Career Opportunities. UPES provides 100% internship opportunities to the students with ranging stipends from as low as ?0 to ?30,000.

UPES has its blooming culture event, namely, Uurja. This year’s uurja had performers- Hardy Sandhu and DJ Ciana. It is university’s grand fest. University has an annual technical event, namely, Ignite. It has 65+ events for the students to take part in. There exists many student chapters and organisations which organise events for the students, oftenly.

UPES has an expensive fee structure. It rounds around 1 lakh 30 thousand per semester but the exact structure varies with the course opted by the student. There is an annual increment of 10% in the semester fee.

UPES offers scholarships to the students with exceptional performance in the academics. There can be semester-fee concessions to the students based on a pre-set criteria. If the student maintains his/her performance accordingly, he/she is eligible for the scholarship.

The extracurricular activities at UPES is really good and are still growing better. Labs are well equipped. Sports are evolving with a recent introduction of sports events and inter-college competitions. Workshops and sessions are organised for students to gain some real knowledge.

Seniors and alumni of UPES are very helpful. Seniors are ready to help anytime when asked. There’s a substantial reduce in the gap between students and working of the management because of the guidance provided by the seniors. Our alumni do share there real on-field experiences and guide us through.

If one has the curiosity enough, reaching any faculy irrespective of just the assigned ones has no consequence. Faculties are ready to mentor students to excel in various fields varing from interpersonal to professional growth.
