Likes

The placement opportunity in this good than other colleges in colleges because during recession year almost seventy percent students got placed in different companies
The teachers are decent most of them done their b.tech from jadhavpur university and p.hd from iit kharagpur
The college allows you to participate in intership and also force to join intership

Dislikes

The college campus is not so big there is not so big library or playground for any event
The library is not so good because the books provided by the college are too old
Hostel facility is not there an individual has live outside the college

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is divided into four CA's and a final semester exam which is conducted by university (MAKAUT) . All CA's are easy but final lab and theory exams is hard to pass or score good marks to get good marks in the final semester a person has to study continously from first day of semester

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is average(80000) for the first semester the tution fee is high but second semester to the last semester tution fee will be same but this doesn't include hostel fee a person has to live outside the college in pg's. Scholarships are provided by west bengal goverment to the west bengal students and central government provide scholarsjip like NSP etc and many more scholarship are provided to students by the state government to their state students

Campus Life

There are many clubs for performing many activities in the college like cultural fests, sports, collection drive and many more . Each department conducts their own fests and a fest which is conducted by college in which a bollywood singer would come to the college for fest and many more fests are conducted in the college

Admission

The admission process is quite simple in this college there are three ways to enter this college 1.WBJEE 2.JOSAA COUNSELLING 3.Management quota Reservation is provided to students of only west bengal not to the other sates students I think the management quota admission process should be closed because the eligible students could not get admission and management quota students struggle to pass in their semester exams

Faculty

The faculty of this college is quite decent most of the teachers did their p.hd from iit kharagpur . They teachers interact with students quite lineancy . The faculty to student ratio for every 30 students an individual teacher is provided .Labs facilities are good enough teachers help students in making them understand about the lab equipments and experiment

Night Life

There is no hostel in the collegeso, you have to live outside the college either with your friends or relatives bit you can hangout with your friends but oitside the colleges because the college gets closed after 6 pm

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
