Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum is a bit hectic in 4th year for forestry , while for horticulture and agriculture , the first year is a bit hectic because of fifth Dean committee. But don't worry , the sixth Dean committee might be thoda flexible later on. Exams are mid level , and they are conducted once every 4 months , during 4th year , Agri and Horticulture doesn't hve any exams since they have RAWE and all , but for forestry , last sem we hve exams plus dissertation.

Fees and Financial Aid

For The students who got the seat through ICAR or NEET , You will be paying around 4k per semester for the course registration , plus 2k monthly for hostel mess fees , while For the Higher paid category seat , you will be paying 54k per semester plus the hostel mess fees i,e. 2k

Campus Life

2

Sadly , we only have College week , that too lasts only 1 week . Not much of focus on other co- curricular activities here . There is a student body , but it's not much active . Smart classroom is also available .

Hostel Facilities

2

The warden will assigned u to share room with 2 more people and there will be a common bathroom for every side of the hostel . There arel 4 girls hostel , Daisy for 1,2 and 3 rd years Horticulture , Salvia for fourth years and masters 1st years , Daffodil for forestry students and Lily hostel for msc 2nd years and pHD peeps. For boys too , there are 4/5 hostels in similar basis. The meals are basic .

Admission

I was interested in doing something for the environment , but on a deeper level , that's why I chose Forestry so as to know more about Trees and the environment and how to mitigate the balance between development and conservation. I didn't applied to any other colleges because I wanted to study here. U can come here through ICAR or NEET and also From Higher paid category

Faculty

3

I did my B.sc in Forestry under CAU , imphal . For us , the faculty to student ratio is 7: 28. The professors are friendly and always eager to help you out . There are one or two teachers who don't do anything , neither take classes nor have any interest in students , but the rest of the professors are gold .

Night Life

4

My favourite hangout spot is maggi aunty ka place , agar waha nahi gaya toh kya kaak college aayein ho . The hostel timing for girls are 6 , but doesn't exist for boys . I know double standards. There is a personal gym room in girls hostel , for boys , it's in the indoor stadium . The cafeteria is also quite good , I really liked the chicken roll and Manju didi ka waiwai.

The college provides various curriculum activities such as debate, speech and many other. The students are offered to go for education exchange to other colleges. They are given various opportunities to interact with other people of the same field to have more wider knowledge about the course. The course curriculum can be more improved if the college proves for practical equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very much in the study of living organisms which lead to my decision of choosing the subject of zoology as my honours subject. The course not only teaches us about the living organisms existing today but also the ones that once existed on this planet. We also learned about how this organisms evolved to be the ones we are seeing today. It is also a mixture of history and geography to get this accurate rate of evolution for every species and organisms living today. I would like to suggest a new training system for the teachers to improve their overall knowledge of other related topics including in the study of zoology like history and geography, not only the core subjects. The timing and frequency of exams are reasonable and also let us have suffice time to prepare ourselves for the examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bachlo of Science in Computer Science Honors because of the current computer trends in the market. Computer department has all sorts of things that are needed pursuing the course. The labs are there. Digital class also there. Students are quite low compared to the other department. we have like 30 students present in our semester. If you interested in the Computer science then you just need to passed 12th from science stream. All six are ready to be there for the students. Only the students seem negligence in the department. Class test are conducted regularly, and there is 2 exam in a year. Judging from the paper its something that can't pass the exam without preparing.
