review of Computer science department at Moirang College, Manipur University.

I choose Bachlo of Science in Computer Science Honors because of the current computer trends in the market. Computer department has all sorts of things that are needed pursuing the course. The labs are there. Digital class also there. Students are quite low compared to the other department. we have like 30 students present in our semester. If you interested in the Computer science then you just need to passed 12th from science stream. All six are ready to be there for the students. Only the students seem negligence in the department. Class test are conducted regularly, and there is 2 exam in a year. Judging from the paper its something that can't pass the exam without preparing.

The admission fee for the computer science is around rs.6500. I provided income proof. So, my admission fees got some discount. You can also apply for Scholarship if your reserved students, and the form fill-up cost like Rs. 2000. There is hike in fees, and all that. Unfortunately, there is no job placement available.

Social life of the college is very friendly, and welcoming. Annual fest includes Foundation day, Teachers day, freshers meet, annual sports. library need to be upgraded espicially for the computer related books, questions bank, notes, and all that are missing. Though classroom is up to date to the latest technology. Sports like traditional Thang-Ta class is also there. Social clubs are also available like NSS, Yoga,NCC, Personality development, etc.

The admission process was quite easy in Moirang college. it was based on first-come, first-serve basis. The admssion forms are available on july, august. We have to fill a form in the counter. Application form cost only Rs.50. After submitting the form in the counter. we get a admission challan. Then payment process are done in the bank. we get an signed challan from the bank, and then finally submmited to the counter. Reservations seats are there for reserved students. it will be more convenient if the admission payment can be done online.
