Netaji Subhas engineering college kolkata, garia College Review from Asim Ghorai

My branch is electronics and communication. This have some specific aspects like research opportunities, Industry Aligned curriculum, well equipped laboratories. I think everything is good if we have to learn the real life needs in this branch that can be also fine.

Our college 1 st year fees is around 180000/- . Our college tution fees + development fees + lab fees+ other compulsory fees is around 153750/- yearly. Other branches like CSE and CSE specialization and IT also have same fees structure. But for Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering it's has 1.2 lakh per year.Our college doesn't provide any scholarship opportunities.We have to depend upon West Bengal government scholarship like Swami Vivekanand Scholarship. Some of my friends are under Tuition fees waiver scheme from West Bengal government. So they have to only pay 70000/- in total 4 years BTech course. They don't have to pay extra tuition fees or others.

Our college has so much cultural and clubs facilities. I entered in phoenix group for increasing my coding experience.There are cultural club that held in every year. We join in this . Therefore are so many games we play cricket, football, Kabadi etc.

I entered through this college by wbjee rank. I am also interested in IEM kolkata Engineering college but I have not enough rank to get my interesting branch. Therefore I have to take this college.I chosed this college because it's recent years placement is decent.

Our students and faculties number ratio is around 1:10 .I like chemistry lab faculty and electrical lab faculty most . I like these faculty because our faculty members are so kind and helpful to every student. They teach us very well. Our security Guard faculties is also awesome. I think we need a sports facility so we can do other activities besides our study. Otherwise everything is fine.

Our college in New Garia area. Therefore we have a special connection to kolkata. We have a gim facility near Garia. We also have music and dancing club near our college campus. A student can join and enjoy his her hobbies like singing or dancing or bodybuilding. I join in a gim beside garia station.
