Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is beneficial for me as i aspire to become a Clinical Psychologist. The course is vast and covers every portion needed right from history to current relevance of the topics. I enjoy studying it and well, its a growing field and for that, its quite helpful

Internships Opportunities

3

Different NGOs accept students from here. Recently, one of our seniors got accepted in a good company. Many students get placement in Manipal University, Dibrugarh university. If scored first class then they come to pick students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 40,000 each sem that is 40,000*2 = 80,000 and for the entire course its 40,000*8 = 3,20,000 examination fees varies from 3,200-3,600 transportation fees depends upon the distance betn your location and the university, mine was around 1,500.

Campus Life

5

The campus is built in a very good environment. There are trees and greenery e everywhere which gives a natural setting to the campus. There are many festivals which are held time to time,be it musical or sports. Ncc is there,NSS is also there One can join in the dance team or singing or sports team based in their own choices

Admission

I couldnt apply for other college as i appeard in CUET. Due to certain issues i couldnt pass the test and Since USTM is a renowned university i decided to enrol here. Percentage should be above 50% and i got 79% so yes.

Faculty

3

Personally, the psychology department has a good amount of teachers, the faculties are very approachable but at times, they can be mean. At present,Zulfikar sir is good other than that none. They explain the course well and knows how to deal with students. other than that,Zemima Maam is okay Punita Maam,Zerina Maam. Dont know how to teach. Exams are being held semester wise and there are 3 sessionals, its quite easy and students often score good marks

Night Life

4

Gym is there,Not unisrx which is good as in there are separate times for both boys and girls. Cafeteria is there inside the campus, okayish kinda food is provided which is good for the on-campus students i e. the hostellers. there is a botanical park inside the campus which is nice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course psychology itself is a mind blowing. While studying the course I was able to know the details regarding problem-solving, attention seeking, decision making, concrete thinking ans so on. As the curriculum is more theoretical, the real world application is extremely limited. The only exposure we get is at our internship programs. Other than that we are limited to our classrooms. The exams lasts about half to three-fourth a month and there are 1-2 days gaps between each exam so the student can make some last minute preparations.

Admission:

The admission to the BA program is based on the scores of the 10th and 12th board exams as well as the personal interview round. The process is small and not very complicated in nature. Although the College is famous for its linguistic courses it is also great for journalism courses as well.
