First of all i want say that the university that is USTM is the best private university in the North east.the view of this university is very beautiful and the environment is so good
Secondly the teacher.they are very sincere and take our classes sincerely and guide us like their children.
Lastly the students and the faculty members and the workers all are very clean an maintain their heigene

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good. There are projector,smart board and smart class room all are present.Horse riding is also there. research centre is also there. Cow house.chicken farm all this things are present. Fashion, modelling everything is held dance competition an all.

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 278800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission I gave 70,800 rupees with 1000 registration fee.and the yearly I pay 106000.and total semister fee is 206000.I didn't get any scholarship. The university gave us good facilities.Hostel food are also good as compared to other hostel and PG. They took 4000 rupees for eash semester exam form fill up.andthere are 53,000 each semester

Campus Life

Yess . There are so festival occurs here, like bihu,durga puja, Saraswat puja, christmass everything is held here. There are so many books are there in central library.whatever we need we can find out thatebook

Hostel Facilities

The room facilities are good. There are 3 bed in one room..room are big and comfortable for 3 students. The meal is good.. every day morning they gave us ,fried rice,puri shabji,khichri,egge bread,ruti etc. In lunch dal and bhaji with any chutney,and in dinner ruti/rice with chicken, paneer,fish,egg curry etc. The hostel is present in the university campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

This college is very sincere and strict for studies and other activities.they do take care of our studies and other activities. And the environment of this university is very nice smooth and attractive.

Faculty

There are more than 300 faculties are present and more than 7000 students are there. In our department I like the most Dr. Rashmimala kakati mam,she is very sincere,very kind hearted and her capacity to understood the student is very good.. that's why I love her more and more. . Since 1.5 years I didn't get any faculty that they are bad . Every one is good. .there are 3 sessional exam including final exam...yes The exam question paper are moderate not so easy not so tough. . Out 60 only 4 or 5 people got back.. otherwise everybody get pass

Night Life

The gym centre is also good, every kind of instruments are present and the gym trainer is available here in the morning and evening time. The hostel campus is very good,clean and greenary. In inside backyard is the place where I often used to go . It's very safety campus for students

NEHU University is a YES or NO

Course Curriculum Overview:

MSc in biotechnology and bioinformatics is quite a difficult subject and the syllabus is very huge to complete in few months . Also this subject includes a lot of practical work which are so time consuming. Practicals are more interesting than theory paper. The curriculum prepares us moderately for real world applications. The syllabus should be divided properly among the semesters so that no burden is on a student. The teachers should teach the subject with more practical than theory based. Some semesters donot almost lasts for 6 months . They are less than 6 months and then exam approaches which is very difficult for students to cope up with.

My Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

First, I was interested in my course i,e Counselling psychology since my class X. I took up psychology in my XI and XII but as my State Manipur does not offer Psychology that time, I couldn't continue in my bachelor. So, I ended up taking English. Even during those, whenever psychology things pop up in a paper or media, it drews my full attention to it. That interest makes me got letter marks in my class XII as well. The first reason I took up this course was, because I want to help people. Seeing lots of generational trauma that affects the up coming children, mental well being of people makes me want to change the world. I got a whole lot of sympathy and burden in my heart. Secondly, I want to know myself more. Taking this course makes more aware of myself, how to stand up for myself, understand people more. I did not regret taking this course. I'm fully content about my decision.

Review of NEHU, Shillong

Remarks:

The college is located in shillong in a picturesque location and has a humongous campus with waterfalls, forests, lakes, hills, pine trees to shopping complex, health center, indoor stadium, salon, restaurants etc. It has beautiful cherry blossom trees which bloom during winter for a brief period of time.

I choose this college over other colleges for my further degree programs because of its environment and results. In this college admission process is very simple you should go the campus first which is located on meghalaya Ri Nhoi district near 9th mile guwahati. I want to study my previous university that was Guwahati university but my dream university was this University of science and technology Meghalaya. But wanted to study there because that was an government institute no money needed for semester fees and a very law budget students can study there and also a very good university of North-east Assam. I applied in Gauhati University but didnt get selected there because I couldn't crack their entrance exam. The main advaantage of Gauhati University over my University is that it is a government University and requires less money Since it is a private University so no entrance exam is held for admission into it.
