- The campus is located in the top of a hill so it’s very much green and you get to enjoy the environment and nature
- The staff and all the faculty members are very much friendly and kind hearted
- University provides us facilities for various things like gym, park, nursery, playground, hoririding club etc
Dislikes
- You get very less holidays and attendance is must
- The canteen serves good food but not UPTO the mark
- In the administration office they always makes you wait for hours where you can’t wait because you can’t miss any classes as well
Course Curriculum Overview
Pharmaceutical science is one of the most interesting fields of today's world, where you can discover, learn and get to experience a lot of new things which you never gave importance to but those things are very much needed in our day to day life only to stay healthy and to keep our surrounding healthy as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The feed structure for the bachelor of pharmacy course was 60000 per semester at our time which might be got increased now. The admission fee is 50000 whereas 14000 is caution deposit and 4500 something is miscellaneous fees. And there's a number of scholarships for merit students.
Campus Life
USTM being a leading educational institute of the northeast region of India, having students all around from the India, mostly from the northeast region, it's feels like a home only, you get to meet people from everywhere from which you can learn a lot of new things about each others culture religions etc. The university also offers various kinds of clubs and extra curricular activities where you can participate and showcase your talents, like music club, drama club, sports club, literature club, etc. USTM also offers NCC and NSS programs to the students.
Admission
I applied in Royal global University, Guwahati as well before joining University of science and technology Meghalaya, but after getting to know about how good this university doing how good their results in every field I knew that I'm joining this prestigious university.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio will be 1:17, amongst all the faculties department of English and education has the best faculty members. There are some teachers in the pharmacy department who are very much egoistic.
Night Life
The university has well equipped gym, where the students can do their regular exercise, where for both the boys and girls they have different timings, also the university provides library facilities where one can find any kind of books related to their course, also the cafeteria is very good in USTM, where students can go and spend their free time doing their chores as well.
