The campus is amazing has a lot of greenery.
Availability of good and safe food in the mess
Separate food court available if you want to buy from other outlets

Several professors are good researchers but not teachers
IT department lacks funding needed to streamline a lot of the processes

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty diverse but there is no subject that wiuld not be relevant to the course. There can be some improvements in the teaching methoda but otherwise it is a pretty well organised curriculum.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like legalspedia and personal firms also give internships most internships are unpaid and do not give a stipend as 10 internships are mandatory. You get 4 motnhs of leave every academic year to do 2 one month internships for which you get credits

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements in their 8th semester. Firms like Khaitan and co visit and give placements the highest placement ever offered was 30LPA while the avg is 20LPA. Placement percentage is around 80%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees for the course is 7LPA and additionally hostels living is mandatory which is another 3LPA. No reservation quota is there. There is a scholarship on the basis of Lsat percentile. If you get 99 percentile in Lsat you get a 50-75% scholarship

Campus Life

Campus life is fun and all there is an annual fest every year called Biswamil where various well know artists perform. There is a café cum lounge right outside of campus and there is a bar 15 mins from campus

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is amazing. The room sharing system is on a three person basis with a bathroom for every room. The living conditions are very nice but on campus hostel living is mandatory. You cannot rent a PG

Hostel Fee: INR 3000000 per year

Admission

I applied to Symbiosis Pune and Hyderabad. Got into Hyderabad but chose JGLS as it provides international placement opportunities. To apply for JGLS you have to give the LSAT exam and score above 75 percentile

Faculty

The exam schedule differs from year to year but on avg you have 5-6 subjects with various difficulties. Some exams may be open book some may only allow bare acts. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:120

Night Life

The nighlife is pretty active until 1-2 am after whicb its mostly couples hanging out. Since it is in the outskirts of sonipat the safest place to hangout outside of campus is delhi but otherwise the campus itself is big enough to roam in

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is completely good. It's so good that you get to know things like letter wise, so it's proper perfect and faculty is also good. They try their best to make you understand. Things can even ask them if you don't feel you got it then, and also they answer you, and they have a good relation with students like not a strict teacher kinda they're open about things and talk to students help them not such academic in their personal life. Also, so that's something good thing.

The college struggling to be decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is extremely poor, The pedagogy is weak and the lectures are the least interesting. Some professors are gems in this coal mine but the wider picture is abysmal. The teachers force you to write and the use of gadgets even for notes is discouraged. There is no academic calendar and exams can happen anytime with prior notification of a month, The results are also delayed; Expect anywhere between 4-6 months of the declaration of results.

JGLS Honest Review

Placement Experience:

In L.L.B. (Hons.), the student becomes eligible for placement after the completion of their second year for PPOs. Also, after giving their sixth semester exams, the students are eligible to sit in placement drives. For law, top tier law firms like Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Khaitan and Khaitan, Luthra and Luthra, litigation lawyers etc. visit the campus for placement drives. Over 90% of the students are provided placements with the aid of the university. My plans also include placement through college in law firm after completing my degree.
