Course Curriculum Overview
I was confident about choosing NSEC CSE ! I knew this college had a great vision of providing good knowledge to the students. The course structure is well prepared for real world problems like competitive examinations preparation, codechef coding preparations. I don't think there is no such area of improvement Yes the gaps and the timings of the examination is good ! No such pressure is given to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm admitted Through Lateral entry (After Diploma Btech) direct 2nd Year Of Btech In Computer science and engineering.This course is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly known WBTU) • My Total 3yr of fee structure as follows : 3rd +4th semester(2nd Year) Total fees : 180000/- 5th +6th semester (3rd year) Total fees : 149000/- 7th +8th semester (4th year) Total fees : 151000/- This is a private collage so there is no management for (SC ST) • The Total fee for a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC) in Kolkata is ?6.97 lakh for four years • There is no such scholarship we can see collage ownside But students can apply on SVMC scholarship which is a West Bengal State based merit cum mean scholarship.
Campus Life
There is Avenir which is NSEC's techno cultural fest happening in March every year. Beside there are many tech fest happened in our campus NSEC has central library. All the books are available there In every classroom there is an AC , and we have smart classes. Yes NSEC conducts many sports and other tournaments of chess, badminton, table tennis, carem boards.
Admission
I applied on other good collages over West Bengal like Jadavpur University, jalpaiguri govt college of engineering, heritage institute of technology. I choose this college over other colleges cause my rank is not so well to get admission on those collage, but the thing is my collage is comes in top 5 in terms of placement. Students who are passed Diploma in Engineering they have to sit In JELET(Joint entrance for lateral entry in technology) exam ... And students who passed 12th boards they can sit on wbjee
Faculty
Yes the faculty to students ratio is great there are 15+ faculty members in each department & the relationship with students are great! I would say ours Core CSE faculty is very friendly.. they always help us in semester exams I think there is no faculty which I don't like ! Every faculty is great! Yes there are 4 interal exams like CA1,2,3,4 these exams difficulty level is very easy! But the semester exam difficulty is but hard.
Night Life
NSEC don't have any gym, but yes we have a cafeteria, peoples like to hanging on garden in our beautiful campus. There is no hostel present in NSEC.the classes ends around 5pm and gates in our collage close at 6pm totally.
