I like college campus. The college has big ground and also have sports activities.
College have big library which has all course support.
College have good teachers and has a big canteen in college premises

Dislikes

I dont like college staff support and they don’t guide new students
College union and seniors are sometimes behaved not well
There is bank in college premises which should not be in premises.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum is good and its relevance according to the curriculum. The curriculum is set according to the course and also have a good applications for further academic results. The teachers are well qualified and they teach very well. Tge frequency of the exam is six months but teachers conducts unit test on monthly basis

Fees and Financial Aid

My college was PGDAV EVE. college and its fees for BA pol.sci. hons. Was for 1st yr-13360 INR 2yr-13160 INR 3yr-13260 INR The college provides some scholarship for EWS students and also give relief in fees structure for Defence services officer's kids.

Campus Life

College has a annual fest which held in march-april month. The college has lots of socities like NSS,NCC,Yoga club, nepathya-dramatic society,dance society,etc. My experience was great and i was involved in NSS and yoga club where i learn and experience great things. The college has boys common room and girls common room for practice sessions and also all society have their rooms.

Admission

I choose this college because of good faculty of political science. I've heard lots about faculty which is true and totally satisfying. I haven't applied to any other colleges. The admission process is simple. You have to fill the admission form and attached all documents related to admission like adhar card, 12th marksheet photocopy, provisional certificate, character certificate and few photographs . Pay you're admission fees online.

Faculty

They took excessive admission and there is lack of space of adjusting student's in class . The some faculty member are good and best . Faculty of english i don't like because they behave rudely. There are semester wise exam one semesters durations is six months. The exam pattern is easy and mostly students passed.

DSC is a decent college!

Placement Experience:

DSC placements are not that great as around 30-40% students are placed and that is how it is here. Most students of Political Science go for higher studies or get job opportunities in political consultancy or journalism.

Gargi : A home to a stranger

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love the course I have opted for in the College. I had so much interest in literature since I was in school, hence made the decision to opt for English Honours in my undergraduate degree. The curriculum of this particular course is easy to get, teaches practical knowledge. We have Internal Assesment and Continuous Assessment before theory exams. In continuous assessment, we are given some topic to make presentation or a group discussion from our sense of knowledge and experience. Speaking up in a crowd and in front of the whole class gives the practical knowledge of being there, present, confidence and speak up your thoughts I would love if we can also watch theatre within the curriculum as we read various plays but watching and analysing them would be great. Mostly the exams are held in December and May, they are moderate level of examination and I have found absolute no difficulty sitting in them and writing. We get 3 hours for the core subjects, and 1 hour for our respective VACs, SECs and AECs.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
