Course Curriculum Overview
Aligns with my goals. Very well, more of paper work less of real interactions but exposure is pretty decent. Ai modules, knowlege of real life handling of situations and less focus on bookish work. Timings are accordingly decided. Difficulty level is moderate
Placement Experience
6th semester. Number of companies: 115 approx. Name: Bain and Co., Accenture, D.E. Shaw Group, etc Highest: 25 lpa, average: 7 lpa 75 percent students gets placed. Professional course alongwith placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is very less and affordable for a year. Tuition fees: 6000 Caution fees: 1000 Registeration fees: 1000 Admission fees: 500 Development fees: 500 Lab fees: 300 Fees for other categories: Obc: 13000, SC/ST: 10000 Several scholarships, decent and good financial aids.
Campus Life
Each month is filled with bright functions and festival celebrations. Like diwali's Deepotsav,Umang, etc. Decent and fully stocked. No Ac but working fans and some classes have smart class access. Decent sports exposure. Yes, makes college and struggling life easier.
Admission
I applied for UPES and other colleges of Delhi University. I got confirmation from UPES. Chose this college as I wanted to get into Delhi University. To get into my college, you've to appear for CUET exam and have a decent cutoff according to your category.
Faculty
The ratio of faculty to student is quite decent. The relationship is comfortable, approachable and overall nice. Shishpal sir has been my absolute favourite because of the way he uses real life examples to teach, his punctuality and the way he connects with his students like a family member. Not sure of the name, but he does not take our classes on time, makes us wait for 3 hours daily due to which our attendance goes short. Isn't punctual and very indecisive. There are two exams. Internals and externals. Internals are class tests and assignments whereas externals include semester examinations. Moderate level.
Night Life
The late night fun is often not experienced. But in celebrations like diwali events, it is very vibrant and lively. No gyms, decent cafe but high prices of coffee, rest is decent. We've red benches where students often sit and have the time of their college life. Famous places inside: red benches, amphitheatre, etc. Outside: maggie point, cafe on wheels, etc. It is quite safe. Very porche area.
