Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is too relevant and make students industry ready. In our department the hod is very knowledgeable and friendly and they designed the curriculum in such a way the students can clear the exams very smoothly very impressive knowledge and experience.
Internships Opportunities
There are some internship opportunities in the college like new startups provide there type of opportunities and the stipped is low which varies around 5k - 15k per month. Last month I worked with a company as an unpaid intern where I made many projects like an e-commerce app, blogging platform and many more.
Placement Experience
The students must be 8 pointer in the final year to eligible for placements. The placement of the college is average. The average package of the college is 6LPA and the Highest package of the last year was 45LPA. About 90% students get placement every year which quite impressive.Many companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizanto, TCS, Reliance, PWS, Infosys come to the college evey year
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is taken by college per semester. For 1st semester it was 86k and after that it will be around 75k per semester. Total fees of the college is 6.05L. Some students also take admission by Management Quota which will cost them around 8.5L. If you choose hostel then they charge 95K per year.
Campus Life
The college have too small campus which is around 2-3 acres which looks like a school but the environment of the college is good. There is a good diversity in the college and there are many social clubs are in the college like technical club is called Samarth, cultural club is called Ankoorans and many. The clubs are active and organise many sports fest, tech fest, cultural fest in the college.
Hostel Facilities
The college has not it's Own hostel but has tie up with many hostels which cost around 95k per year or 8k per month for a double sharing room included attached bathrooms and 2 times a food from Mon - Fri and in the weekends they provide 3 times a food.
Admission
The college is far better than the other colleges. I applied for many colleges of West Bengal like IEM Kolkata, Haldia Institute of technology, Netaji Subhash engineering college but among of them Techno main is best college. In IEM the curriculum is too hard. They have to study more than 8 subjects in a semester but in our college the curriculum is too good and work load is minimal
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio per subject is impressive. For every 30 students there is a teacher for a subject. In our section there are 60 students and we have 2 teachers per subject. There are 3 internal exams known as ca1,ca2 and ca3 and after there is a main exam called mid sem.
