Likes

Things that i liked include my friends, atmosphere. Teachers are friendly and co-operative.

Dislikes

Management doesn't function properly. They wont teach properly. Also there are no other extra curricular activities or functions etc.
Very less campus area and just a single building.
No proper library. Also labs are also not that efficient.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course in terms are overall good. But its always recommended to do in other well proper colleges. Because lab knowledge is very important in our course. Here we dont get good exposure. Also library needs to be much improved. Its just below average or basic level. Teaching has been improved after coming of new teachers.

Class Size: 13Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 35000 rupees for management initially as 1st sem and 2500 rupees as caution fee. Later on from next semesters fees has been increased. So yearly fees will be upto 75000 to 78000. Other fees include that of examination and uniform fees.

Campus Life

There are no proper campus in our college. No proper union, no other events or clubs are present here. Sngist Engineering college is better i think, but sngist arts amd science college is not that good. Teaching and all are fine but other than that this needs to be improved. Everything is just basic here.

Admission

I have applied to UC college, aluva. But i got admissions to sngist college. I have completed my bachelors in biotechnology from st marys college,Thrissur. And applied for my masters in several colleges including sngist. There are no other competent exams for admissions. Eligibility for this course is BSC biotechnology for a cutoff of 55%.

Faculty

Faculties are friendly to students. But they dont seems efficient. Some of the teachers are good in overall,teaching cooperative and all. But some are not that good at conceying things. Exams are there properly i.e, 2 exams prior a sem exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum are updated bi-annually, which is a great thing as it keeps the subjects relevant to the industry standards. The semesters can become quite hectic after the first internals as each subjects have 2 components. The timing to submit both is close.
