Course Curriculum Overview

4

For civil services this works best, this curriculum provides the backbone of every other subject in the real world, they do prepare in the best way for the resl world, because we talk about real things only. More accessible teachers can be, when it comes to solving doubts and others, curriculum is pretty good to handle and easy to learn! The frequency and timings of exams is often conflicting with the festivals though India is diverse but still teachers do not get the basic idea of courtsey here

Internships Opportunities

2

The internships are provided by local companies as ours is not a commerce college still, sheforher, tapeatale, deloitte, are few with roles being of researcher, content writer and graphic designer, editor, etc

Placement Experience

3

From 4th semester students becomes eleigible for placements, it is provided by the olacement cells, deloittee, samco, nescafe, justice, etc are the companies that visit often ans offers are made in good number but the highest package has been 16 LPA nad the average has been 6 LPA which is not of the great deal, still first hand salary is good looking at the admission fees, around 40% do get the placements! My plan is to attempt civil services

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The year wise fee to be paid is 14160, which includes all because here no division of fees is done, one time payment is made! The fee for SC/ST and non taxpayers is 186, the foriegn students have to pay 15000, and PWD a sum of 96! There is a dean's scholarship awailable based on merit cum need, else college doesn't offer scholarship

Campus Life

3

The annual fest is tempest, even NSS led ONELLA which is the diwali mela is organised and is indeed worth experiencing and! The library is well maintained and journals are provided along with Online access to several books. Sports is not that much of nice but other co curriculars are indeed best, there are several clubs and groups of alkost every activity and one is just in the hurry to fit in any!

Admission

I did not apply to any other college, because I preferred DU over others in any senses, because of the exposure and knowing the fact that I coild easily make through this college seeing at the entrance result! Overall admission procedure is simple, after your CUET exam you have to log in the CSAS portal and then thingss can go ahead accoridng to the deadlines! It becomes nervewrecking but is easy to access

Faculty

2

Faculty to student ratio depends on the course, ib mine it is 1:80 , faculty is not really so approachable but yes few people can find their way towards them! The best faculty is of geography and english department because of the way they handle students and other issues! The mid faculty is of political science because they do not put in a lot of effort in sorting problems related to concepts Exams are usually IA and CA they are not at all difficult to crack, easygoing they wre but end sems might take over your life if not cared

Yes people get intership at the end of graduation as there were many companies who came to provide internship to student . But for my course this never works because we cannot get any good job by doing B.a as its only theory.

I didn't give many miscellaneous exams but BMS. Although, I did try really hard to get in through ECA trials in music. English was always my passion, but so was music, which is why I yearned for North Campus. I started off by taking admission in Motilal Nehru College. From then in the next list, I jumped to ARSD, and finally in the very unexpected 8th cut-off list, I got DCAC. That was the best decision ever.
