Course Curriculum Overview

4

The pressure from the college will either make you stay in a particular place without growing or you will degrade your performance They is no learning environment in the college for coders in MCA department but the engineering BTech students are way beyond our imagination The cource that we study in the college is actually not applicable in real world as the java applet feature is depricated in java latest version, but our board chose to include it. So basically we are still stuck in the 10 year old syllabus for now Exams conducted are in a proper manner without any disturbance, and I we study then there is no difficulty.

Placement Experience

2

From second semister the placement startsand it starts with the eligibility criteria based on the CGPA Recently Wipro, capegimini, cognizant and out MNC's have come for recruitment with 11 LPA as the highest package Highest package was 11 LPA from Wipro and lowest was 7 LPA for some small company From a total of 120 students only 10-15 students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am under OBC(CAT-1) I paid 66000(including registration fees, tution fees, admission fees, lab fees, and other caricular fees ) as college fee, 46000 as KEA fees (PGCET), so totally it's is 115000/- Next year I will have to pay the same exact number of fee which is 115000 Even my friend is from SC category he got the total same fees of 115000/- without any discount

Campus Life

2

Annual fests are totally waste because one fest arrives at the time of our exam time and the other fests are conducted after the fes periods of class and the fest occurs only from 4-5 hours no traditional day for MCA students, rest all engineering students are enjoying the days. They are books available in the library but it is of no use as the resources are available in YouTube to study, it's just a show-off to study in the Library

Admission

So I basically joined the college because of place and mainly because my friend insisted in joining the college to, and when I got the mock seat allotment (PGCET) I got seat in CMRIT, and even my friend got in CMRIT, then I got to know that my friend had changed the college for 1st priority, he choose BIT then he received the college date of admission and even I got the data of admission for CMRIT and I made the admission here

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is preety good only with the HOD and some other teaching and non-teaching staffs, we can approach them regarding any problem we have, but some are exceptions. Dr. Rajalaxmi is a faculty who is very good in nature, she won't scold anyone and very humble in nature Some other faculties include: Dr. Gnaneshwari, Dr.illango In one semister they are totally 3 internals I well fail in the internals then 4th internals is kept for the failed ones to get proper marks and we can also write the 4th internals to improve our internals marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MCA course curriculum is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. It covers core computer science subjects such as programming, data structures, databases, software engineering, and practical lab work, which influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. With the support of good and experienced faculty, concepts are explained clearly through theory, practical sessions, assignments, and projects. Exams are conducted on a semester basis with internal assessments and end-semester examinations. The frequency and timing of exams are appropriate, and the difficulty level is moderate. Students who attend classes regularly and follow faculty guidance can perform well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosed artificial intelligence and data science because it has a very good future.the world now is depending on ai so its very useful for me to get a job. My college and the faculties r really preparing us so well for the real world applications. But they can still improve in the teaching methods. The frequency of the exams r really very good and even the time is very efficient, it will be quite difficult but its for improvement of our practical thinking.
