The college has a great faculty and the they are very much cooperative and good opportunity of sports
The fest of this is amazing. Variety of clubs
The hostel is amazing and good infrastructure

Dislikes

Sports facility for only the dedicated one not for dun
The food is amazing in the hostel of the college
Their is long electricity cut and poor water supply

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is bit complex and in first year it has variety of subject. But from second year the subject are specific in respective course and help in future for placement and internship. Overall it has a good educational curriculum.

Their is great internship opportunities are available here in this college the different type of company comes. Their is high success rate of cracking internship at ground level. Their is pre placement also and the company give very good stipment

Placement Experience

The college campus placements are at their better levels after a stunning recession in the world market . But our college with its strong allumini base and best faculty make it to achieve to get best placements in its own region .Most. Of the the time students get job offers from college campus .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is not increased once you have taken admission. Yearly fees is 2.1lac and scholarship for the category respectively.the college provide scholarship to one who top the 1st year and it is 100%.

Campus Life

There is a great experience in our campus life .People are very friendly in nature . The main thing i like about this college is thier is no social discrimination at ground level . All students are treated at same level .their is cool environment in social clubs .

Admission

The process to get admission in this college via jee main .The one thing that makes this college unique is sports facility, education, circullam. The fees of this college is very affordable and there is scolarship benefits for the one's who are dedicated to study.It is within the reach of our locality.

Faculty

The faculty member are very cooperative and has a good knowledge of subject the exam pattern is one mid semester and then final year examination in a semester. The marking is bit strict and jo one achieve full mark

Pec...The best college in chd

Placement Experience:

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

My review of PEC Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Pec is still worth it

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)

Great college with immense opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

Good college with great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and many get PPOs in 3rd year as well. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google, visits the campus for placement. In CSE last year, the highest package was around 60 LPA with average around 17-18 LPA with 80% got placed.

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.

Pec is still worth it

I chose this college because of the fees and legacy of college, it is more than 100 years old and everyone in the industry knows about it, the fees is low compared to others. the campus is decent 150 acres which is comparatively better than other government colleges (though if u want better campus and can pay high, go for thapar). I applied to thapar, IIITs but at the end chose here. I was rejected from NIT delhi due to rank (college tag is more valuable of NIT). Admission process is only through josaa and csab, only online (after jee mains). And cse at pec is very popular, along with ece....Read More
