- Students can't use the lift in college building which leads to the lots of exersion.
- System is more focused on academics in extra curricular activities there are only few events happens in college.
Course Curriculum Overview
•The placement of the YCCE in electrical branch are far better than any other core branches. •College curriculum also invites to join clubs and other social activities which builds up confidence. Also organises the entrepreneurship programs. •It would be much better to tech certain couses using animation which are hard to visualise for the better understanding of students. • Usually exams are easy Mid sem 1 and 2 much easier compared to the End semester exam.
Internships Opportunities
•Companies like Wipro and TCS offers internship for freshers stipend depends on the activity of the students some companies also offers paid internship without stipend. •Better your project more your chances to get hired in the internship program.
Placement Experience
•From 6th to 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. •There are more than 160 companies visit YCCE per year. •The highest package offered was of 45 LPA and average lies in between 4 to 5 LPA . •College has more than 90 percent placement ratio. •My plan is to work in companies like adani power and torrent power etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
•The fees of YCCE nagpur college of Engineering for : Open catagory - 176000=00 OBC category -104000=00 NT category -33000=00 SC category - 13000=00 Registration fees is 6500 =00 And have to pay the extra 2700=00 for the college uniform •I'm paying 104000=00 per year as I belong to OBC category
Campus Life
•YASH is the annual fest which happens during the period of December to January and some small events also happens in here. •There are more than 5000 books available in library. Institution charges 300 rupees for the adaptation of books per semester. • Projectors are used to teach some visualising concepts . • Only basketball and badminton court is there for students. •Their are verious clubs organized by seniors to make a strong social interactions.
Admission
•I have applied for most of the autonomous colleges in Maharshtra but in YCCE the placement are comparatively better. I've also applied for Raisoni college and Priyadarshini college of engineering in Nagpur as in nagpur the cost of living is cheaper compared to big cities like pune and Mumbai. •Did not get the rejection from other colleges I just preferred this college above all colleges. •You can take admission through score card of Mht Cet and JEE mains & also through management quota. Mht Cet is the exam from where you have higher number of chances to get admission as only 20 percent of seats are reserved for managements students .Cut off for CS branch varies form 95 to 96 percentile and of core branches below 70 percentile is also accepted.
Faculty
•There are almost currently 7000 students persuing Btech in college. the faculties are in between 300 to 400 including teaching and non teaching staffs. The teachers are very friendly In terms of academic conversations. •prof atul lilhare is the most gentle and kind teacher to ask any doughts openly and are very supportive teaches the subject BEEE(Basics of electronics and electrical engineering). •prof. Mushi who teaches very great but due to his strict behavior towards students some are afraid to ask him questions and doughts. •There are total 3 exams conducted Mid semester 1 Mid semester 2 and End semester.Usually mid semester exams are said to be the easiest and end semesters are little tough comparatively generally 2 or 3 or of 70 to 80 students tends to not clear the exam.
Interview Experience
•To get admission you have to attempt the exam like JEE mains or MHT-CET or you can also take admission through institutional rounds. •Taking the guidance from some experienced seniors and mentors should be mandatory while applying for cap rounds and can also apply for paid counsellings.
