Remarks

Good in every field. But the things which I don't like is that is politics. Politics in every field. Good environment, if you want to learn something definitely a good place to learn. It will help you to learn different things like a photography music band football basketball handball etc.,

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the environment of college is awesome. You not only learn the subject but also moral values. You may take part in mountaning photography music club etc. One of the Best Institute among India. Exam structure is also good. Per semester you have to give 2 internals n 1 main paper. Questions levels are good.

Placement Experience

Yes, placement plays an important role in college. Here I have to say that the placement is far better than 70% of colleges situated in India. Some of the time its ranking between tops IIT's. Actually in the engineering faculty doesn't provide internship. Other departments like ARTs Science I was unable to say that.

College Events

Sanskriti is the main event for our college. Different faculty have a different time to organise SANSKRITI. Apart from that Freshers day held by the individual department. Where senior gave some task to the 1st year students. Then Reunion day where we interact with seniors knows about our colleges their point of view regarding department or colleges or how to build up our careers. Then Holi Vishwakarma Saraswati puja is also famous in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are negligible, 64 rupees per semester and during 4 years course Rs 10,000 only. Price is too low as you compare to another private colleges or in fact, IIT also have more price in this segment. I think price is really very very low.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides so many scholarships. I have never apply for scholarship but some of my friends got around 60 thousand to 70 thousand per year. Which means it will help poor people if there children get chances.

Campus Life

Everything is awesome there are lots of things to know. Labs have old and new machines. In the production engineering department having a 2nd largest machining. In our college srijan organise there are different types of competition held like drawing, dance , singing, band , art, etc. In every field college will try to do always new.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, alumni network and seniors are very helpful. They will help and suggest the best thing what to do or not except some of them. In overall good connection with seniors. The bonding between seniors and juniors are good. Friendly in nature.

Faculty

One of the finest faculty. You can ask them anywhere anytime. If they free they will definitely help you. Everywhere there are some professors are not up to the mark but here you will get at least 80 per cent of them are good.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected. The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

1) I applied for Delhi School of Economics, however couldn't manage an admission due to the extreme cutoff on CUET exam for the same. I had confirmed admission from North Bengal University, however it was not feasible since I had a choice in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University has the best rank among all other colleges I had a confirmed admission to, so I chose this University. 2) I wanted to study in Delhi School of Economics, but couldn't make it there due to the extensive cutoff in CUET which I unfortunately couldn't clear. 3) Jadavpur University conducts its own internal exam for admission into its esteemed Masters of Arts [M.A.] programme. However one can get through by CUET exams as well, however that needs a decent score.
