- Most liked thing in our college is the society activities. There are several types of societies active in our college. They conduct various extra curricular activities which is necessary for the overall development of a student

- Political inactivity of our college should concern us I think
- Principal is very strict. Sometimes it feels like we are in a school not in a college
- Mandatory attendance issue must step down as you have many societies for extracurricular activities
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college is following NEP 2020. According to which,we now have to read seven papers instead of 5. Value Addition Course(VAC) and Skill Enhancement Course (sec) are added. I don't really think these extra 2 paper really enhancing our skill. I think it dilutes our honours courses. We have three core paper and one Generic Elective and one EVS. Core paper is read deeply and I really think that these three paper enhances our understanding
Fees and Financial Aid
Last year when I took admission in Hansraj College, I had to pay 24k for tuition where admission fee and other necessary fees were included. But this year, tuition fee has been increased by 15% or something for most of the DU colleges. Our fee has been increased by one thousand. Now I am in second year and I had to pay 25 thousand for tuition fee. There are many available scholarship for students. Students get fee concession if they perform well in the exams. There are scholarship for SC,ST and OBC students also.
Campus Life
Two great festival is conducted every year - One is General Fresher's and another one is Cultural Fest. Hansraj's fest attracts most of the students of DU. Hansraj has one of the best library in DU. Accessibility of study material is not complex. Hansraj library has a great collection of books. For sports, hansraj has a big playground. Sports society is also very active
Admission
Hansraj College's NIRF ranking is 12 now. It is among the one of the best college in the country. More importantly it's location impresses me to choose this college as it is located in the north campus along with other prestigious college. I had good CUET score (740/800) and got this college, though I wanted to pursue my degree from Hindu college
Faculty
Faculty students ratio is not very good. It may be 1:40. Faculty -students relationship depends on various factors. Some faculties are very good in being frankly with the students. Others are very strict. For example in our history department,we have a professor named Yogender Dayma. He is a very kind person. He is also concerned about the extra academic problem of a student which is very commendable. But I saw very rude teachers also who doesn't care about the situation of a student
