Likes

The professor are supporting, cooperative and generous with great exposure in various departments across the globe
College Campus was neat and clean with proper time to time cleaning and mopping of floors
The ambience of college will make u feel like living your dream college life as shown in bollywood

Dislikes

Regular construction and path blockage was a serious problem those days (2023)
The entry exit from kamla nagar gate was very limited and students had to protest for opening of that gate
The ground is under maintenance and construction since 2022

Course Curriculum Overview

They should have mentioned wider range of options for Discipline specific Subjects and other optional subject ( generic elective). The cartography should be made digital Oceanography should be included . The no. Lectures should be increased. Exams should be made easy as professors told us to write atleast 6-7 pages for each answer.

Placement Experience

Placement is only provided to few selected courses B.com hons. , Economics hons. , statistics hons. , and science backgrounds there were limited options for the humanities students until they have any specialised degree, course or qualification

Fees and Financial Aid

If we see the fee structure of the course, it's pretty affordable and equal to an average UG humanities course. Additional discount on fees is also available for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PWD Category.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is needed to be improved as the geography lab was unable to accommodate all 60 students at one time. The sports infrastructure is poor , library need to be updated Canteen is good which is crowded most of the time Reconstruction of theatre of our college just began when i was about to pass out

Admission

Kmc was my first and only choice to go for. But i had o secure my seat in du so i took admission in SBSC in the 1st cut off as I can't make it to kmc in 1st list. The interesting thing is that almost 30 students of my batch had gone through the same process. I secured the seat in kmc in 2nd cut off .

Faculty

There were mentor mentee groups where students were guided by the faculties where the ratio was 1:25 . Prof. Seema mehra , Dr. Jitesh Rai , Dr. Ghazal are outstanding Also they have worked in the foreign universities too , having exposure yo field works and practical work

Placement Experience:

The college has ample placement opportunities from renowned companies. However, these are concentrated towards courses of commerce and finance. A student of any course ust also be active in internship which can be secured from eclectic backgrounds for this helps in separate future pursuits. I intend to be a diplomat, for which I will be appearing for UPSC. The college does not offer any placemnt for this particular course, however, with ample internship experience one can accelarate themselves professionally.

Ramjas in it's Glory

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant but could include more giving of notes, assignments and frequent tests to check how ready we are for exams. However, the syllabus is being completed on time which gives us ample time to study for our semesters. I chose this curriculum since it gives me a really good scope in Economics which is a subject I am passionate about. The difficulty level of tests and assignments is moderate. The curriculum could be better in terms of how well we are prepared for real world applications, though. Moreover, I believe that the teachers should be interacting with us even more to ensure this.

Every course does not offer placements. Only the economics, maths and science related courses offer placements. The highest placement was of 21 lakh p/anum in my course. In the last semester which is 6th semester students become elegible for placement. 80 percent of students gets placed and if not they try off campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered with a median of 6 LPA, the highest at 24 LPA, and a gross value of 9 crores, with an average package of 7.5 LPA and more than 110 recruiters. Job offers are given mostly to final-year students, and internships are also offered widely in the college with an average stipend of ₹15k. Job offers are majorly in Audit (40%), followed by Finance (30%), and 15% each in Business Development and other sectors. My plan is to apply for higher education or upskill and work in companies dealing either in finance and policy, or even both together.

Unveiling LSR: A review of excellence in education for women

Placement Experience:

Lsr has a very high placement rate in all over du . Infact it has the highest placement package offered to any student in du till now which was 49 lacs. Students sit in placement in their final year and top companies come to lsr like Amazon, McKinsey, D.e.shaw, boston, Blackstone, accenture, etc. The highest package is 49 lacs and average package these companies offers is between 10 to 30 lacs. Most of the students who sit for placement are selected and those who didn't, they get placed off campus. I didn't sit for placements but I did get offer from a political consultancy after doing internship with them . However, i didn't have plan of doing job that time . I wanted to pursue higher studies so I went for masters.

Nice internship opportunities with good companies
