College doesn't matters your skills matters during placements

Data science course is a very interesting field so I choose it as I have a dream of becoming a data scientist in a mnc The curriculum prepares you in a well mannered way for real world applications which includes projects lab assignment in real world problems of coding and data cleaning Exams are quite difficult but one can easily clear them with 1-2 hrs of studying on daily basis of the notes and teaching done in class on that particular day.

Microsoft,Amazon, mncs like TCS, cognizant,Wipro etc. and many startups which offer good packages to students during campus placements. Internships in lab vantage, Medtronic and this kind of companies and many startups re available

From 4th year student become eligible for campus placements TCS, cognizant,Wipro,Amazon, and many startups visited our college Average package is 4lpa and highest package is 32lpa 80% students get placed through campus placement I am currently planning to join army after my btech degree as I am doing ncc in our college but will sit for campus placements after getting my degree and try to get a good package of 7-12 lpa in campus placements

250000 is the yearly fees of both semesters together. I am sc caste student but my admission was in open quota as this is a private institute. Admission fees was 92000 excluding 5000 paid during wbjee examination. Svsm scholarship is available for students with family income less than 2lpa and tfw category fees is much less and scholarship is available.

Annual fest is quite good in our college with big celebration and tech fest are stopped suddenly from recent years. 1-2 tech fests are only held each year. Library is well equipped with good books for semesters and also general knowledge. Classrooms are air conditioned with projectors and well equipped instruments with proper speakers and all. Outdoor games can be played but their is no big ground for practice but indoor game facility is good with badminton,table tennis, carrom courts well maintained. There are many clubs in our college like phoenix, eco cultural club ,csr,gdsc, ncc, taekwondo etc. which provides good opportunity for extracurricular activities in college years.

I went through wbjee counseling and I applied for Heritage institute of technology, techno main salt lake etc. and I got a haldia institute of technology cse seat but I left it and took nsec cse ds seat which I got on 2nd round because it got a bit better placement then hit and also because I wanted to stay far from home and enjoy a hostel/pg type college life. Yes couldn't get Heritage institute of technology because I didn't had the rank in wbjee to get into cse in this particular college. During documents verification of wbjee you have to get admission in our college if you are coming through wbjee. Wbjee is the exam preferred by students to get into the college.

Faculty members are well educated and knowledgeable and are very supportive towards the students except few who are rude towards students but overall faculty is good. Our maths faculty is quite good and physics hod is a well knowledgeable person who can reach us well In total there are 8 semesters in my btech degree with mid-hard level difficulty of the exam papers as the college is affiliated with makaut. 30-40% students fail to clear maths or physics papers in their first yr of college.
