3 years well spent

It's a great peaceful college that allows you to spend great time with friends and focus on studies but with limited opportunities. I loved my time at the college but hope it gets in more placement opportunities

Course curriculum is same for all the colleges of the university. The course for microbiology was very good given that it covered all the important branches of microbiology and a base was formed at the undergraduate level. Exams structure includes 6 semester end exams over the period of 3 years.

The placement opportunities are negligible for microbiology graduated and no internship is provided. You have to make arrangements for your own internship. Placement is available for other departments like CS but not microbiology.

There are 8 departments in our college (they have now increased I guess) and each department hosts its own fest in the even semester mostly. Besides that, the college has its own fest called the srijan, the quality of which is only increasing.

The fee is very small and nominal. The fee for first year was just 6666 Rs and the fee for the subsequent years only decreased. The fee structure though varies from department to department but surely it is one of the most economically feasible colleges.

I wasn't beneficiary of any scholarship so I really don't know but there definitely are some scholarships especially for female students. I can't such much beyond this. That's all I know about the scholarships.

The music and dance club of the college is a flourishing club and is quite active. Music club in fact has many accolades to its name and hosts songs of India, a music competition, annually. The debate club was active when I was at its helm. Sports are Okay okay. Labs are fantastic with all facilities and are clean and great.

Yeah, the faculty organizes a small seminar annually where some of the former students to come and share their experiences and advice. They are also connected to professors via whatsapp group and personally as well. All in all, it's a nice music family.

Faculty for the department of Microbiology was great. Teachers were dedicated to students' cause and explained things really well. I must say our faculty for microbiology at BCAS was one of the best faculties.
