Remarks

I only have good comments on the institute, I had a great experience in my career. The faculties motivated me for my career planning and development.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Yes, of course, it the curriculum and exam structure is relevant to the students. we feel it is a comfort for us. I will, of course, suggest the students whoever comes to me and ask about curriculum and exam structure in the college and also in the university

Placement Experience

5

The placement was a good experience because in the first interview itself I got selected for Child Rights Trust, Bengaluru.

College Events

5

The celebration goes very well in college. Kannada Rajyosthava, Sports (different types of sports), Annual day celebration, Graduation day and send off the final year students etc.

Campus Life

5

We have an excellent campus filled with greens. we have good lab facilities, we have a sports room where all the students have entry and yearly once the college will conduct competitions and on the annual day celebration the winners will be given a prize. we are motivated and we are also encouraged to participate in such events.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes of course they were and they are helpful to us, I hope they will continue the same. We have a good report with the seniors and juniors too.

Admission

The first step of the admission is students need to apply online and counseling will be conducted in the Bengaluru university. Later the students will be allotted seats in the different colleges. The above mentioned is for the university quota and for the management quota the students can come to college and get the admission done. But I belong to the university quota.

Faculty

5

The teacher provides all type of supportive possible from their end to the students. They will try to bring out the hidden talent in the students and t6hey also encourage the student for all kinds of activities. They need not be assessed but they are the role model of our batch.

University of Mysore - [UOM], Master of Arts [MA] (Ancient Indian History and Archaeology)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, I always wanted to study history and archaeology. They fascinate me. I was preparing for the CUET PG 2023 when I went through the University of Mysore website. Since I was unable to crack the examination, I applied here as a student. We went through an entrance exam and I was able to join here. The subject is interconnected to all other fields from science to social studies. To ace this field, one has to pass with NET exam. On the other hand also to complete a PhD. There is an institution under ASI that trains students in field work. Back to the department, though teachers and staff are helpful, communication is a problem. It is hard to follow up as they will be speaking in state language. I think if they are accepting students from other states, they should also come to a point of common language for communication. The semester exams are not so difficult. Students must study well and understand the concepts. Previous year question papers also help a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My subject is MA. English. The curriculum comprises of complete history of English Literature along with great poets and their writings. The plus point is that it will help the students to learn about the different writing style along with knowledge of how to interpret the subject matter. The exams are conducted 4 Times for 2 years ie. 4 semesters. Along with these they give assignments to write to test your writing and comprehension skill.

Placement Experience:

The companies visit the office in the final year. For Media and Communication Studies program, the companies come mostly for the students of Advertising and Corporate Communication (Specialization 2) rather than Multimedia Journalism (Specialization 1). However, all the students are free to sit for all the companies. Some good brands come up for placements and take students every year. However, the good part is that even if you don't get an opportunity from the campus placement, you will always get an edge because of the university name when you apply to any of the companies. That's especially when you're applying in Karnataka or the Southern region.
