Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rather My course as good as there are subjects that provide a white range of knowledge for our career opportunities. Some of the subject are relevant to our field but there are some subjects that are not. But the subjects covers most of the aspects in b.com course.

Internships Opportunities

5

The companies that offer internship are 1) tabbdoc aircraft- designation: b2b marketing, stipend 25000 per month. 2) physics wallah vidhya pett- designation: intern, stipend - 8000 per month . The internship project started by the college have helped to clarify the task.

Placement Experience

5

For the placement in our campus the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The company that has visited or that has made offers are joy alukas, HDFC Bank, magic pin, and many more. The highest package offered is 8 lakh per annum and the average package offer is 3.5 lakh per annum. After getting a degree I am planning to join m.com. I don't have information regarding the percentage of students getting placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fee: 86150. Second year fee: 40000. Third year fee: 25000. The fees are quite affordable and worth of the facilities that is being availed. I applied for management quota and still the fees is affordable.

Campus Life

5

The annual festivals that are conducted are sports festival such that yawlumpics, badminton championship. They also contact workshop regarding personal development, workshop for wealth management. They conduct international conferences as well. The library has more than 1000 books at its disposal. And with a library card it's accessible. The classroom is provided with projectors for taking digital classes. The spots activities includes cricket ,basketball, etc.

Admission

I choose this college because it was within the close proximity of my home and due to this the transport expenses were less. And there was high rating in Google as well. For one the other college that I wanted to apply is an autonomous college and AIMS institute is affiliated to Bangalore University hence I have more trust in a Government university affiliated university. The other college (St Joseph University ) was less transparent compare to AIMS University. The admission process was pretty simple, all we have to do is get an appointment for the admission bring all the documents and make payment for the fees.

Faculty

4

The faculties has good teaching techniques, some teachers are excellent at teaching, some are average. The faculties keeps on changing either within a year or after a year. The bcom course has 6 semesters for three years, each semester provide 7 subjects in total. The syllabus for the subjects is provided in the college website. A session exam, pre final exam and a final exam is being conducted per semester.

Night Life

4

Cafeteria closing time is 8:00 p.m. , the library is within the college. The campus timings starts from 9:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m. the famous hangout places inside the college is there ground area where we can play basketball and other sport activities. There is also a sitting area near the auditorium which is also peaceful.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.
