Remarks

Overall Aims Institutes is a very good place to study in as there is a good placement rate and also they have a good faculty with good academic knowledge.

Entrance Preview

I had four requirements for a college. It needed to be small, academically rigorous, strong in academics, and have a student body that was goofy and didn’t take life too seriously. So I applied to a few b-schools that met those requirements, visited a few campuses, found Aims where I felt at home, and it offered me the best financial aid package. So hence I joined AIMS It was a pretty easy decision.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

There is a lot to learn from this college and the exposure we get is really helpful and it also makes us corporate ready. The lecturers are cooperative and each student has a mentor who guides him/her throughout the completion of the course. There were various different methods used for teaching like case studies, etc

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internships for students at various companies like Reliance, ITC limited, ACT, Digital India etc. The general stipend would be around 10000-15000 per month. It was a very good learning experience for all the students.

Placement Experience

5

Aims Institutes has a really good placement team and around 85-90% of the students were placed in companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ITC limited, Byjus, Godrej, E&Y etc. The highest package offered is 12 lakhs p.a and the average package is around 6.5 lakhs p.a. So overall the placements at Aims is very good and the also have entrepreneurship cell for the guidance of the students.

College Events

4.5

There are various events and fests which are conducted in our college like the freshers day, Christmas celebrations, debates, literature club etc. Also, there are clubs like the marketing club, HR club, Finance club. The college fest also happens yearly with students from various colleges coming and participating.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for a PGCET student is around 3 lakhs for the duration of 2 years which is feasible and also the hostel fees in addition to this are around 1 lakh per year which has a mess facility as well. The fees for Non-PGCET students is around 9 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college might scholarship facilities to students who are in need for it and loan facilities as well.

Campus Life

4

The campus is pretty small but we have enough facilities for students like a basketball court, volleyball court and a TT table and an auditorium with a good capacity. There are various competitions which are held in our college like TT, volleyball, basketball, cricket, debates, business quiz etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel fees are around 1 lakh per year which has a mess facility as well and the food is decent compared to other hostels. There are other facilities which are provided for hostelites like free bus facility, i.e pick up and drop to college. So overall the hostel is pretty good.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a good relationship with the alumni of the college and annually there are alumni meets where students from different batches gather and share their experiences with the college.

Exam Structure

Aims institutes come under the Bangalore University. This university has a semester wise scheme, every 6 months we have a semester exam and during this semester there are 2 internal assessments which carries 30 marks and also various assignments are given, along with case studies.

Admission

I got admission at Aims institutes with my PGCET (post graduation common entrance test) rank, I got a rank of 2795. So I had applied to a few colleges and in my first round of pgcet I got this college and I selected it without appearing for the second round of pgcet as I had read the reviews about this college and heard a lot about the good companies that come for placements at this institution

Faculty

4.5

The faculty at Aims is excellent with highly qualified professors. The lecturers are cooperative and each student has a mentor who guides him/her throughout the completion of the course. There were various different methods used for teaching like case studies, etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.
