ARSD College, DU

The curriculum of this course is interesting. After the establishment of NEP, much aspects are open to study for the students. Students can study different subjects by their choice which makes studying even more interesting. Maintaining the speed of coverage of syllabus should be an area where improvement is needed. Frequency of exams and practicals is little disturbing.

No internships are provided on campus although students gets opportunities off campus by startups and many companies also, not mncs but yes small companies with an average stipend of 10-15k and decent job roles.

After the 5th semester students become eligible for the campus placement. Companies like Deloitte has also came and gave offers to the student with average package of 5LPA Highest package offered in this college was 8 LPA. Around 40% students get placed every year.

I am from OBC category therefore i have a fee concession and thus i pay 18000 for my physical science with computer science course for a year including all type of charges like, tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees etc. We often get scholarship opportunities.

Tide 2024 was the official fresher's party this year in which haryanvi singer Ajay Hooda was invited and that was fun. It was held in february. Alongwith many other tech fests and events which happens on a regular basis. Library has a vast collection of books & journals along with daily newspapers. All classrooms are provided with projectors which works as well but ACs are needed yet.

I had applied for many other colleges from Delhi University, JNU, Jamia Milia Islamia and many other central universities. In the second round of DU CSAS allocation system i got this college and this course. In the first round i got Rajdhani College with same course combination. The eligibility to take admission in my college is through CUET and also student should have a subject combination of PCM with english and more than 75% marks in their 12th class. Admission process is easy and not so tiring.

The faculty to student ratio isn't a problem for the students. It has plenty of teachers and teacher to student relationship is also very casual and friendly with fully approachable nature. The mid sem and end sem exams are not quite tough, sometimes we get to see the pattern same as the previous year's.
