Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course itself was my personal choice whereas the chemistry department is highly a expertise in their work. The circulum mostly focuses on real life to professional life outlook which helps us to prepare for the future academic pursuits .They provide career councelling which helps the students define a clear path for their career. For improvements in the circulum their should be only one book it is very difficult to find content from different books and the teachers explain very nicely but rush in a fast way.The exams timmings are manageable and approachable whereas they should provide more days for preparatory holiday between the exams on the basis of vast syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The companies are from government to private sectors which provide a good amount of stipend to a fresh intern in management to marketing. The projects gives an individual a greater outlook towards cooperate life from its pros to cons .The projects are time managing and market handling which gives us good experience to add it on our cv's.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is affordable and under 50k to 60k your 4yr graduation will be completed. There is no such exception in fees wavier in any case of sc or st .The fees will be 100 percent wavier only when an individual has an income certificate which claims family income less than 2 lakhs. There are different scholarships based on merit, family income.

Campus Life

4

Tempest is the annual fest held on april and we have tech fest which are held around may or june. The library has a wide range of options and a lot of varities with ample amount of books from fictional to educative books everything is available. The classrooms are well equipped with smart classrooms and ac.The college is highly active in sports and other activities ,they encourage each and every student to be involved in sports also other than studies. The clubs and society of the colleges are super exciting and fun which gives a lot of new experience and exposure it helps us bring out new personalities within ourself.

Admission

I applied for IITS but could not secure a rank and get into the college. I was eligible for du colleges but I chose Miranda House because first and foremost it is a girls college and also college is wordly renowed for its performance .For getting into my college first one have to clear CUET.12TH pass canditates can apply for it and for my course you have to apply for CUET and clear the exam .The cutoffs for the exams is pretty high for science courses the cutoffs are high and competitive. The CUET exam and the admission process is very tiring and boring. It needs a lot of patience and wait for the admission.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is very good.Everyone can interact with each other and can have one on one conversations with the faculty. The faculty is very friendly and supportive . The science department is very good ,from labs to classroom everyone thing is well equipped. Everyone department in miranda house is good and student friendly. There is total 2 exams in a year semester wise and are pretty tough although very less students or no students fail .The course curriculum is updated according to the new education policy .

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

The course is not only about stitching and cooking but a lot more than that . It teaches us the most practical and basic part of our life . Their should be more equipment and practical equipment for the practical. Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
