Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are offered average difficulty,though some are hard to get through,it'll be easy for one who is regular in studies and attends the classes. Few courses are not much relevant as they were structured years ago and are not yet reformed.

Internships Opportunities

One should have a good enough profile to kand an internship. Many companies offer internship in the CDC placement rounds. You need to clear various stages to land an internship and have to be skilled in the field you are targeting

Placement Experience

From 7 th semester end students are eligible to sit in CDC. Companies visiting include MANG and many other MNC's. Highest package is 1.5cr pa average being 22lpa. People can opt into tech, consulting, finance and management profiles. Due to recent setbacks only 60% are getting places My plans are maybe higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 1.5 lakhs per semester for general students.It is 50 thousand for people having category benefits.The fee includes everything i.e. tuition,hostels, library,mess etc. Numerous financial aids are available, it varies from person to person.

Campus Life

Kshitij is the techfest Spring fest is the cultural fest They are held in January Our Library is the biggest in Asia Classrooms are well advanced including most modern technologies. Almost all sports facilities are available Many clubs are there , impacting people in various ways,expressing all that in a sentence will be an understatement.

Admission

I got confirmed admission from all IIT ranking under KHARAGPUR. I preferred KGP because it's a well esteemed IIT. I got rejected from colleges that I did not get based on my rank. Admission is through josaa counseling and it is based on your jee rank.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
