Likes

The thing that i like the most is the no. of official competitions held
Another thing is that there are alot of functions and fests held
Last but not the least my department is very spacious

Dislikes

The thing that i hate the most is that my department i.e uit is way too far from the main gate
Teachers are good but not so good tbh some of them are very generous too

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum can ne rated highly as it aligns with the current industry trends and the best part is every day there are practical classes from 3 to 5. The level of difficulty of exam is moderate according to me

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

According to the course that I have opted the fee structure is 87000 for the odd semester and 60000 for the even semester approx which makes it to 140000 per year. Ghis is for general caste and for sc st the fees is way too less i dont have the exact amount but trust it is way too less. There are many types of aids that are given to the students

Campus Life

The main technical festival in my department is techyon.. which is one of the most popular fest in the whole campus. If you ask about the library the main library is very awesome.. every book is available as well as it is fully air conditioned. One the most famous group in my department is esf electronics students forum which handles almost every fest in our department

Admission

I also applied for other colleges Chandigarh group of colleges and Chandigarh university were the colleges which I applied. If you ask about confirmed admissions... both of them were offering me the seat but the reason i chose gndu over them is gndu is in my home yown and moreover it is a government university which offers more facilities

Faculty

There are alot of faculty member according and they are very friendly tbh. The main topic that everyone wants to lnow is the exam pattern. In every smester there are two types of exam held one is minor aka mst and the other is major. Minor is of 30 marks for which the time limit is 1 hr and half syllabus approx and the other is major which is of 70 marks and 3 hrs are given and the final result is after clubing both of the marks and scoring out of 100

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.

Course Curriculum Overview:
