Remarks

The college does what it promises, that is, quality education. Apart from that, I feel the management could be alot better and organised unlike now. And also the cash counter could be expanded a little since it gets very crowded during fee payment. But otherwise everything else about this college is great.

Entrance Exam, Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum of the college not just prepares you theoretically but also practically. It is an autonomous university. The curriculum is set in a way so that you are prepared for the jobs that you do, or industry ready. It makes you confident because you know what you would be doing once you go out of the college

Internships Opportunities

Yes it does provide summer internship. That starts after your second semester so its more like learn while you earn. You have pocket money while you learn. The stipend that is paid depends on the companies that offer these internships, also some companies do not offer a stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements and job opportunities are great. You get informed through mail regarding any new post or any company that intends to recruit freshers. But the only thing is you must adhere to everything that is advised by the placement cell like submitting your documents on time in order to have a great placement.

College Events

3.5

The college hosts a variety of events. The most known is Zephyr. Besides that there are inter college events like Meraki, Equip for engineering students and various other events. Also there are sports days and other university events that are held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. It is not overrated as of now since the university is still in its growth stage. Compared to other colleges in and around Bangalore, this college has a reasonable fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you enter through he PGCET, the fees is reduced based on the the specifications of the Karnataka government. You can also avail loan from banks. And installment facility is also available, like you can pay on a half yearly basis.

Campus Life

4

The library in our college is one of the most beautiful amongst all the other infrastructure. You will find every book that you need for your course. The labs are great too. I am not into sports so I don't know much about it.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostel infrastructure is not upto that level but its okay. The rooms tend to get pretty cramped up. Food is provided to the hostel students but not everybody likes the hostel food so you should reconsider before you make a decision to move into a hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful. But you shouldn't count on them to tell you what to really do or how to get through because what has worked out for them might not work out for you. The student network is pretty great though.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is fifty percent externals and fifty percent internals. That is just like any other college nothing different. Your internals would consist of a lot of parameters such as class participation, presentations and projects to name a few.

Admission

Once you write the entrance exam, you have to wait for your results. Then go meet the concerned authorities and they'll give you a certain advice and you can fill an admission form, submit all your certificates and get your admission done. Its a smooth process.

Faculty

5

All the faculty in our college are graduates from IITs and IIMs so obviously their knowledge in their respective subjects is huge. They teach well and give it their one hundred percent but I feel as students it is our responsibility to also learn a few things on our own.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

From the 2nd last semester, that is the final year, students become eligible for campus placements. Last year, two of our seniors got placed at Reborn Child Development Centre (Durgapur and Asansol) with an average package of Rs 200,000. This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.
