Course Curriculum Overview

4

Helped in my preparation for upsc. Exams were held within a gap of 1.5 month. My course name was administration and governance so helped me in a lot of further administrative line of work in future. Teaching methods are good

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearl fees is almost 1,30,000 INR. Semester breakup is 65,000. However you get scholarship facilities such as 100%freeship, 70/50% scholarships for poor and meritorious students. All tuition fees, lab fees etc are similar to all caste categories. Registration and admission fees-88,000/- caution fees-10,000/- Some of my batchmates enjoyed 100% freeship and most of them enjoyed 50% scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

During my years we had two campus festivals Managemia and Esplendidez held after 6 months basis. Mny book available in library from neet preparation to upsc Every classroom has smart board Yes horse riding yoga etc Quiz club space club etc

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel is the worst. Rooms are tiny. Not properly administered. Meals are even worse. Quality is very poor. They sometimes provide expired food. Hostel is affordable but I would not recommend. Food menu is non veg

Admission

I got offer letters from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai for the course B.Sc(Economics) And from Hindu College, University of Delhi for B.Sc(Physics) And from St. Josephs college, Bangalore for bsc I didn't choose those colleges because I wanted to do my bachelors in arts

Faculty

5

The faculty-student ratio is decent. I have not seen these many faculties in any other institution previously. Teachers here are kind, very friendly and do not have any prejudices. In my department, everyone was great. There are 3 sessional exams before the end semesters. Easy to score and we get good marks.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was not my actual mind to opt my major which is history, since it was hard to find open colleges late I had to adjust to it. It might be better since I had a habit of remembering things that are upto no use in the present or maybe better for securing jobs as it is quite in needy in these aspects. It's still not very clear in my part but it partially taught us the basics It gives us 3 hours of time per paper and it's not very different or very hard because it has been always the same pattern along with the portions

The course is quite vast. But it only consisted of three subjects for my batch before NEP. We only have Western music, Hindustani classical music and regional music. But courses with NEP has a lot. And not just focuses on music but extras too.

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. The examination that they conduct are very reasonable because they give us the amount of time that a normal students need to be prepared for an examination. So I think it's quite reasonable and nice.

I would rate an 8 because curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for the grade and a timeline to follow so the syllabus will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information

NEHU syllabus is quite good I should say, especially with the introduction of the NEP(New Education Policy) Well regarding the curriculum, I would say the teachers play and important part regarding that situation. However, exams or tests are becoming quite a headache for the students compared to the duration of our courses
