Course Curriculum Overview

4

We get to choose our elective from 2 nd year onwards gives us fair chance to opt and experiment in different fields of interest. In terms of practical knowledge, that can be increased incorporating some good teaching practices by teachers. The frequency and timeline is same each semester we have 3-5 assignments and quizzes and mid sems and end sems

Campus Life

4.5

The life was way good as i got good friends group , so it was a great ride as it was in chandigarh so the beauty and the calm city helped me sail through my college life . Overall, it was a memorable journey.

Admission

They had an option of branch upgradation . The location Chandigarh itself calls for it. Overall development opportunities are diverse. It gives us people from various backgrounds and regions in one place .

Faculty

4

Faculty to students ratio will be 1:30 i feel but as various research grads also take tutorials of course so it gets managed in case you want to reach out for more depth of knowledge. Teachers are quite approachable and cool.(most of) Exams are like we have each semester one mid sem and end sem , and pretty decent quiz (2,3) between both the timeline. Almost all students clear the exam except 1,2 which didn't wrote anything. Course curriculum is quite good just the teaching methodology can be improved.

In CSE, companies start to come in 6th semester for campus placements (few companies also come in 5th). In my course around 70% students secure placements. The highest package offered last year was 52 LPA and the average package is 5LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include Amazon, Cisco, Paypal, Virtusa, Deloitte, among others.

Admission:

I have got admission in the last round JAC(post jee exams).JAC allows every candidate of jee exam to find their relevant colleges according to their marks. The round are held in between of april and june (supposed). The dates are shown on the result site and the head office becomes UIET Sec 24chd for chd and dont know for other states,Fee for the seat is paid for three rounds but for the fourth round college fees is paid before hand that means if you are selected for the seat your money will be paid as fees in the college and if not your money will be returned. In every college 7day imteractive session is organised so that the students have no problems in their further sessions. I opt for this course as it allows maximum field work that is most requires during placements. This allows me to challenge my limits and endure my patience and stress level. Moreover it enables me to interact with the market and different people that endures my anger management. At end the course helps in personality development
