Likes

The faculties are too humble no force for attending lectures
Our annual fest his too grand and convocation ceremony is also too good
The beauty of nature and the overwhelming weather of north bengal

Dislikes

Ragging culture,threat culture, dayscholer hosteler discrimination
Very boring lectures with least interaction
Classes are very short duration and most of the time is holiday

Course Curriculum Overview

The new competency based meducal curriculum is too good step of nmc.Every thing is divided per semester wise and topic wise.Clinical related questions are top most choise.Early clinical exposure and family adoption are prety good inocative.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 6550 per year

Internships Opportunities

The question is irrelevant i think.Every meducal course included 1 year of mandatory internship facilities.Its paid internship.Privide 30k per month and have various duties depending on the department

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is semester wise and its 6550 Total 9 semester which cost total arround 50k Scholarship available for economically weaker state Svsm or swami vivekananda scholarship worth 60k/year Hostel fee is 12 rupee per year

Campus Life

Being a old medical college its as very experienced infrastructure and well metained departments .Playgrournd is available.But they lack gym or any club.Library is pretty good but new books needed.Sports are held only once during annual fest.

Admission

Its was never my choise of college.I just got into it due to my family pressure.The only reason to them is that its nearer to home which i am now regretting.There are too much holidays which is annoying.Opt for other top medical colleges.

For 4 professional exams at end of each year Total 9 semester which is 3 on first ,3 on second,3 on third year Most of the faculties are not too much great teacher but they try their best Slides need to be imporved they are to old

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.

Best medical College in west bengal

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

I joined this college as it was closer to my hometown and It has good reviews than other colleges it is one of the most disciplined college. I applied this college in the first round with topmost priority and I got into it in first go. I got admission in this college through JENPAS examination and I only gave PAPER 1 But I got into the college cause my marks were good and on top of that I was ST student but I didn't get into college due to category.
