- Washroom could be maintained well but it isn’t
- The food of the hostel is Kind of Full of spices if one cannot eat spicy foods than it can be troublesome
- The water isn’t really pure, Sometimes it is irony and the colour of water is pale yellow
Course Curriculum Overview
There are alot of external classes that happens as the college doesn't have all the professors present in the college so the professors from other institutes comes and also for other classes like anatomy physiology we have to go to medical college for classes. The internal classes aren't very good as we have to study most of the syllabus by ourselves
Internships Opportunities
One gets 6 month of internship within the 4 year of course. As the course is of Bsc Nursing one is Nurse and Gets internship money about ?8000. One gets internship at north bengal medical hospital there are also other hospitals where they can do internship
Fees and Financial Aid
First year fees is 409 if you opt for hostel as well if you don't want to join hostel than it is ?369. Hostel fee for a year is ?40 but the mess fee is different we have to pay ?2500 monthly for the mess,but if the holidays are more than two weeks than the mess fee gets reduced. Fee structure is same for all the categories. ST/SC/OBC can opt for various scholarships provided by the government of west bengal
Campus Life
There are alot of Events, programs and activities that happen. We have sports day and we celebrate all the festivals,and Pujas. Our most important puja is swarswati puja. Extracurricular activities are fine but we don't have Proper sports activities everyday and mostly the technology are not that high and good but the basic needs for technology are present.
Admission
I joined this college as it was closer to my hometown and It has good reviews than other colleges it is one of the most disciplined college. I applied this college in the first round with topmost priority and I got into it in first go. I got admission in this college through JENPAS examination and I only gave PAPER 1 But I got into the college cause my marks were good and on top of that I was ST student but I didn't get into college due to category. Also there is one more scheme from Mr nanrendra modi, PM Scheme for ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir girls they have to sit for NEET exam and they get admission if they pass
Faculty
The faculties over here are very friendly especially the Nepali teachers are Easy going, they are strict kn various things but they are good with the students and They encourage students to grow and Learn
Night Life
If the student is out living than the college isn't strict but if one stays in hostel than they are not allowed to leave hostel gate after the classes are over, i.e after 4PM There is only one outing in a week and the day shifts every week if one gets outing in Saturday than the next week one gets sunday its alternate. Saturday one gets 3 hours of outing from 2-5 pm and on sunday 10-4 PM. There are alot of cafe and gyms nearby
