You have to give exam quite frequently.... Part exams.. Semesters... Professional exams.... So you have to study throughout the year.... If you study sincerely, you will be well equipped for real world medical practice.... Ward classes are really necessary if you want to learn how to treat patients actually... Sometimes all the exam and ward classes may become hectic to manage... But you will learn to manage

Internships Opportunities

3.5

After giving final yr exam, you start your internship.. It is of 1 yr.. You get stipen of 30000/month...but this internship is really hectic... You get your postings in variety of departments and wards.. The ad-day and post-ad-day are literally energy draining

Fees and Financial Aid

Mbbs is of 5.5 yr course... We have to study for 4 yrs... We work as intern in our college for 1 yr... While studying, we pay 4500 rs for each semester... We have 9 semester in the whole course.. So we pay 40500 rs as semester fee... Hostel fee is very affordable, 12 rs/month...while admission we have to pay 1500 approximately..... Fees are same for all category students... The course is affordable if you do your mbbs from a govt medical college.... I am doing from west Bengal.. So the fees may vary little according to your state.... In west Bengal, you get stipen of 30000 per month in your internship....

Campus Life

4.5

We have annual event of our college, named Plasma... This os of 5 days... This is the durga puja of our college.... Many celebrities come in these events... We have lots of fun... Our library has a really good collection which really help us in study... We can avail those books whenever we need them... Sports are also there, our college appreciate sports in a admirable manner.. Football, cricket, dodge ball etc... Many sports club is also there for students

Hostel Facilities

4.5

You apply for hostel while admission and most of the tines you get room... In the 1st and 2nd yr, 4 students are alloted in each room... In 3rd yr part 1 , 3 students & in final yr 2 students in each room... Unfortunately bed and wardrobe are not provided in our hostel... Food in our mess is ok ok... We give 40rs for each meal... Snacks are also provided

Admission

I got admission through neet ug examination... I preferred this college because it is quite old... So the infrastructure is well enough... The patient flow is also good so I can practice well... I also applied in medical college of kolkata but my cut off didn't match there... You get admission according to your marks... The patient flow and infrastructure and the weather ... These are the main reasons I chose this college over others

Faculty

4

The faculties are really helpful.... They clear your academic doubts whenever you go to the dept.... Anatomy dept & pharmacology dept is really awesome & student friendly... I personally admire these 2 dept a lot... There are 9 semester in total & you have 4 professional exams in total... If you study regularly and sincerely, you pass the exam & if you give some extra effort you can get hons also, i. e. 75? marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.
