North Bengal Medical College , The beauty.

The curriculum is as per the guidline of NMC. That is National Medical Council. They have set a curriculum . And That is follwed the entire country. There are semesters in evrey 4 months approximately.

There is a mandatory Internship of 1 year. That will pay you approx 32000 monthly. You have to learn the skill from the Senior PGTs and professionals with your knowledge that you have acquired in last 4 year

At the time Of admission student have to pay 6550 . Where rs 4500 is Tuition Fee for 1st semester,rs 1000 is Admission Fee,?1000 is caution money ( It is a type of security amount which will be refunded after end of the course),and rs 50 is Fee for Fees Book. After admission student have to pay rs 4500 for each semester. (There are 9 semester) At the time of university registration student have to pay around 5000 rupees for Registration process in University. During university examination student have to pay rs 300 for each paper . As example in 1st year MBBS student have to pay 1800 rupees for 3 subject , as there are 2 paper for each subject . The amount will be received in university. There are some scholarship that student can avail like SVMCM (rs 60000 /Year) Oasis (For SC, ST, OBC students)

If you want you can make your social life better .Plasma the Fest in this college is a huge fest. All the possible type of social and cultural games and programmes ar played. Artists like Darshan Raval, MD Irfan, Sachin-Jigar , Fakira , gave their outstanding performance in this campus.

There are quiet good hostel facility in the college . There are 4 hostel for boys though 3 are functional. And 3 hostel for girls. For boys In first year you have to share your room with 4 students in 3rd year 3 student and in final year you will get your presonal room in Senior Boys hostel In girls hostel you have to stay with 4 people in 1st to 3rd year and in final year you have to stay with 1 student.

I choose this college as This is the Only medical college in west bengal which have a such big Ground. And I am a sports freak. There are many tournaments occur in this campus . If some one is rider this college will be gold for them as the College is situated in foot of the Great Himalaya. And darjeeling town is only 60 KM from the college.

There are faculties in departments. Some departments have sufficient number of faculties and some have not. The best faculties Dr. Nirmal Kr. Bera (Psychiatry), Dr. Soumya Bannerjee (Pharmacology) , Dr. Spandan Bhaduri (Cardiologist)
