- The old infrastructure, one of the biggest library is here.

- Cultural events like Jashan and Youth fest takes places every year which add a little entertainment to student's life
Dislikes
- Transport facilities for hostel students, students have to travel far barefoot to reach their respective classes
- Companies should visit more on this campus. Teachers should also interact with students also instead on focusing on taking lectures
- We can promote different sports also instead focusing on our main sport hockey
Course Curriculum Overview
I am from the electronics department and we have additional add-on courses related to machine learning and artificial intelligence. We also have some good teachers who could help with the process. We should have more upgraded labs and practicals to engage students in these activities. Exams are on a moderate level, you should just focus on class notes and teachers insights.
Placement Experience
In the 4th year which is the 7th semester onwards companies start visiting like KPMG, Accenture, and TCS. Usually, they hire at least 30 students for each company respectively. The highest package in 2024 is 9lakh by TCS for prime role. 40% gets placed from each department
Fees and Financial Aid
In a year there are two semesters, for the first semester which is an odd semester it's 55000 and for the second semester which is an even semester, it's 72000. So In a year, you are paying approximately 1.3lakhs.
Campus Life
There is an inter-department competition called Jashan and Inter college competition called Youth Fest. It takes place every year. Our library is one of the biggest, with advanced computer labs and fully air-conditioned. Our college is no.1 in sports. There are some clubs which depends upon your department and it could really help you boost your personality
Admission
The first option was this college due to its lower fees, and I applied to Chandigarh University but couldn't get the marks for a better scholarship. For Btech your jee mains mark matters, if you have more than 85 percentile you could get a computer science branch, and below 70 then electrical engineering.
Faculty
Facilities are pretty good here, the computer science department has the best facilities. They should have a makeover for their department but considering the old infrastructure from the late 90s they might not upgrade the dept. UIT department is very far away from other departments and it gets less attraction from the others. In a semester there are two exams minor and major. Minor is of 20 marks and major is of 80 marks.
