Our university infrastructure is the best one in our state
Our university has best labs equipment including I-mac also

Dislikes

Our university campus in time is till 8:00 pm only. It should be increased
Our hostel timings should also be increased till 11:00 pm
The library should be open 24 hours . It should be operated whole day

Course Curriculum Overview

Our university has a good relations in abroad . It also have IEP PROGRAM which includes study in abroad also . Their are total 2 exams in a semester which includes mid semester examination and end semester examination.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 260100 per year

Placement Experience

In our university the students become eligible from the 4 semester for internship programs . The students can also apply for placement programs in the 6 semester. The highest packages had gone upto 34 lpa in 2022.

Fees and Financial Aid

My total semester fees is 260000 Tution fees is 140000 Devlopment fees - 57000 The scholar ship is also provided in our university It is based on merit basics Their is no finicial benifit given to the students from other categories.

Campus Life

Their are mainly three annual fest conducted in our university which includes thapar food festival, saturnaila and urja ( sports fest) . Their is a good range of books in the library Their are total 46 societies in university which includes both tech and non tech .

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities is the best one in. Our university Almost all the hostel have ac accomodation The meal quality is also the best one as it is run by an sodexo company which is well established. The university has a fretbox named aap which included all the hostel room booking process.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

The admision process of my college is very smooth I choose this college over other college because of the infrastructure and the facilities available in our university. The admision process is based on the jee main merit basics and pcm boards exams .

Faculty

The faculty of our university is the best one in our state . The faculty are cooperative and supportive with the students . Their are almost 30-40 faculty in each of the departments of our university. The student faculty relations are very good and interactive

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. I had a really nice percentile of 98.9 in jee mains but what happend is i intentionally wanted to score 69 in boards i didnt know about the 75 percent jee mains criteria i got 69.7 i like to call it 69.69 but i messed up so i applied in vit as well and srm and thapar i got in all of them after giving there respective tests on the same fees but i chose thapar was better after some consultation with my relatives who are in this field and know people in this field i got admission in the end on basis on jee only in thapar and the experience is well...Read More

Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking.
