Better university for peaceful mind to focus on education

Course i have choosen is quite different from other courses, it helps me to get into different job opportunities and help me in different ways. With a B. Sc degree we can even access to different competitive exams and different other courses too

There are several companies that offer internships with stipend and also universities outside that offer internship programs for students. There are several groups within the university which allert the students in term of any internship program or any campus placements

Students need to finish the course then they will be eligible for the campus placements. The average package is around 400000 pa to 600000 pa. Placements are offered on the basis of the students percentage.

Our tution fees and hostel fees is divided in two semesters for one academic year where we need to pay every semester depending on the fee structure. Total of 8 semesters or 4 academic years. Scholarships and financial aid is being applied on the basis of merit and on reservation. ST and SC can make use of there reservation category and can pay lesser amount compared to other. My fellow batchmates fee structure depends on the extra charges like lab fees etc. and management people have a little higher fee amount

Festivals and events keeps happening in the university specially in performing arts department which is helpf for the students. All the students of the university have the access to library and reading room but they need to carry their university identity card as it is must to enter the library or reading hall

Hostel facilities are good and there are constru of new hostels for the up coming students, registration process is easy as we have hostel office seperate for boys and girls. Meals quantity need to be improved and need to change there menu too. Locality is good to rent a room or for PGs as few students rent outside as well

I have applied to different central universities like delhi university, central university of karnataka, banaras hindu university lucknow central university. In all these universities i was offered B.A economics which i was least interested as im from science background so i had to wait for the approval of pondicherry university geology course and i have choosen this.

Faculty to students ratio is not bad but few departments need to increase the faculties. Relation between student and faculty is good and professors help students in every form. Exams are conducted in the form of internals where in one semester we have 2 internal exams and one end semester exam which is quite good
