The environment inside the campus and the various facilities the campus provide are good
Not only we get to study we can indulge ourselves in various club and society activities
We even get to participate various sport and Tech events which are mostly organised by students themselves

The curriculum is well structured not only do students get the theory knowledge there are also laboratory classes where students get to experience real-life situations. there will be mainly two exams: Mid-Sem, and End-Sem and also depending on the course and professor there will be class tests and assignments.

More than 75% of students get placed through the campus placement process some students get their job form off-campus companies also

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay the fee per sem and it includes Tution Fee, HMC fee that includes mess,hostel,library expenses and Gymkhana expenses.Based on the income of your father/mother students can avail for fee wavier also which considerably reduces the Tution fee (which is 100000 per semester).

Campus Life

The campus life in IIT's are wonderful experience in one's college career.There are many events held on Campus like Khistij(Tech event), Spring Fest(Cultural Event), E-cell and many others. Students from various colleges also come and participate in the competitions conducted as part of these events

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are clean and hygienic. The food is also good here. Within the campus, there are several cafes, restaurants, canteens, and many food stalls. Every hall has a separate canteen and stationary shop where students can buy their necessaries.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
