I am a b.tech 1st year student at Graphic era University Dehradun.

There are various courses that we can apply in the college and along with that the college provides us a great opportunity to work under many other than the class course, like the club workshop or induction work or the m course and the MOOCS cources.

There are many internship available and all that depends to you how much you can grab companies like DeShaw and Infosys are available here the internships vary person to person like paid or non paid. If you are good at interview with a decent CGPA then you may grab it with your projects and resume .

The campus placement held in the college are good though as many companies appear for the campus placement yet you should seek for off campus opportunities in some better companies if you are good enough for them.

I paid the fees of 551750 for the first year as i got a scholarship or 20%. Tution fees is 323000 for first year ,hostel fees is 145000 and it depends on the hostel, caution money is 10k and the uniform fees is 19750. There is scholarship on the basis of GECET exam and on the class Xii percentage and jee mains percentile. Many students have paid a high fees of around 400000 only tution fees whereas you may get 50% or even 100% scholarship with GECET.

There are various cultural fests that occur in the Graphic era University like the GRAFEST that is well known by many people other than that the dussehra event and janmastami event and many more like the independence day cycle rally etc. We are provided a very good library and many computer labs in the campus. Apart from that there are many good going clubs in the campus like the IEEE tech club, Swaragini , Rangmanch, Love Gita Live Gita and many more .

Almost all the facilities are provided in the room like the room is well furnished with bed ,almirah, table,chair,bed table, and many more plus we are provided geyser in the washroom, the quality of the room is very good apart from it our mess is just on the ground floor so we don't have to go any far and the quality and taste of the food is well and good.

The admission process is held in the campus of GEU by submitting the admission fees wgich is refundable and the eligibility criteria is to have 65% in boards.other exams for eligibility are the GECET and jee mains marks.

The faculty to students ratio is quite high and i am glad to study from them. Dr Shakshi Gupta mam HOD professional communication,Dr Kamal Ghanshala the president of GEU are one of the best teachers in the university.I haven't yet found any faculty that i didn't liked . There are total two exams in each semester the Mid Sem exam and End Sem exam.
