Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very relevant in this era. The curriculum is designed like that the course starts directly from the Chemical engineering field which enhances us to attain the subject very efficient and firstly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities

many companies provide internships. The college will help the students to get internship very effectively. The curriculum itself is promoting internships and projects. The Oracle, caterpillar etc. many high companies will come for students.

Placement Experience

The campus is very effective and efficient. the overall average package is 16 lakh which is top for a college. For chemical engineering the top package is 25 lakh and average package is 10 lakh. Th high companies will come for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 17k for below 1 lakh students and 30k for students between 1 and 5 lakh , finnally for above 5 lakhs it is 80k. Students can apply for Different scholarship for financial aid. Th admission fee is 30k.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is amazing and it's facilities making the campus more attractive. The clubs conduct different programs for the students for both curriculum and co- curriculum based activities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is very large. It s beauty is indescribable. The food given by mess good giving variety of foods satisfying different cultures students. The hostel and mess both are cleaned efficiently. The facilities is in room is good.

The college is among top nits. This college stands high in nirf ranking also.this colegs cultural and technical part is very authentic and attractive. This college provide different facilities when comparing to other colleges.

Faculty

Faculties teaching methods are very effective. The exams schedule is very accurate and effective. The grading system is absolute or relative based on the opinion between faculty and students. The course curriculum is very super.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
