The admission process starts with CAT Exam on the last Sunday of November Every year. The eligibility to give the CAT exam is that one must have more than 50% in 10th, 12th and Graduation. After the CAT results are declared, one must go through a Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. After these processes are done, a composite score will be generated based on 10th, and 12th, graduation marks, Work Experience, GD, PI and WAT performance. I applied for FMS Delhi, SPJIMR, IMT, IMI, DFS, DSE and obviously the IIM through CAT. I was not shortlisted for FMS. from all the other colleges I got the call from ( except BLACI )and was interviewed in all the other colleges. I was not able to convert IIM K for SPJIMR I went to the second round. I then got rejected, and Shillong could not convert, and when I finally landed up in IIM Trichy, one of the best B-school among new IIMs. I am from the general category, so I did not avail any quota. And the shortlisting criteria was a minimum of 80 percentile in each section and 95 percentile overall. The admission process for CAP interviews was common.
