An insight to college life

The curriculum is well organized and is with respect to the modern advancement. They have courses on Fintech, Agentic AI and Marketing analytics all having high relevance in today's tech driven world. The frequency of exams is every month so it makes things a bit difficult for students as we have to prepare for both placements as well as exams.

The different roles offered are Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Portfolio manager, Supply Chain and Logistics manager, Brand manager and other roles are offered. These are offered in the range of 40k-90k per month with the internship lasting for 2-3 months. The main goal of the internship is to learn what the role has to offer and to be habituated to the corporate life.

The students are eligible for Summer Internship from 2nd semester while for Final placements from 5th semester. Some of the companies which come for placement are JP Morgan & Chase, Decathalon, BNY, Mastercard, Cocoblu, Bajaj, ICICI Bank. The highest which was offered was of 24 Lakhs while the average is 14 Lakhs. 85% of students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to work for an organization and learn and grow in the management field.

In the 1st year we pay around 10.53 Lakhs and then the remaining 11 Lakhs for the second year. 10 lakhs is for hostel and food and then 10 lakhs tuition fees rest other payment is miscellaneous.My batchmates pay the same amount as I am paying. There is no scholarships or any relaxtion of payments for any category students.

Theere are a lot of events happening in campus our flagship event is Latitude which has been completed on December. The library has updated books and e-books available. Various sports are also played in the campus, within batches. Some sports organized are Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Cricket. The college has extensive student groups divided between clubs and committees. They have their own responsibility and organize their own events.

I also applied to GIM Goa, IMT Ghaziabad, XIMB Bhubaneshwar but I felt that GLIM Chennai is the one where I can learn more and also the ROI is good for that college. Yes I got rejected from IMT Ghaziabad, GIM Goa and this was due to my commumcation skills and not having relevant knowledge of the things asked to me. The admission process consisted of PI and the exams I gave was CAT and XAT.

The faculty to student relationship is very good, the faculty help us in solving many problems and also guide us when needed. The exams conducted are at a moderate level checks all the learnings done in the class. The students are all able to clear the exams and mostly relevant subjects to management are taught in the course curriculum.

Gym is available 24*7, while the library is available at all days except for sundays and the public areas are open everyday. There is no hostel timing in the campus as all the students stay in the campus. Locality is decent enough to roam around at night.
