Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA ( financial management) curriculum is relevant and cover score financial concept well. It help with real world basic basic but lack in depth practical to like Excel, stock analysis, etc. exam are semester based and moderate difficulty.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am pursuing on MBA in financial management al Dr. M.G.R educational and research institute, the fee structure is quite straight forward. The tuition fees 48000 per semester, make it 96000 per year since there are two semester in annually. In additional to these te the tuition fees, we are required to pay an examination fees of Rs 4200 per semester. And one time blazer fees of Rs 3300 during a first year. So for the first year, the total come to around Rs 103500, and for the second year, it is Rs 100200. This bring a overall fees approximately Rs 203700 for complete 2 year of MBA program. There are currently no major hinke in the fee structure, and the fees have remained stable for The past few batch. However, student in management quota might have a slightly higher tuition fees. As for scholarship, University offer merit based scholarship and financial assistance for the students who perform exceptionally well or fall under economically weaker section. If you of my batchmate have received merti-cum-means scholarship, though that exact amount very depending on the student academic record and financial background.
Campus Life
Campus life is decent and moderate social interaction. The annual fest "TechAura" is held in march. The library has basic books and limited journals. Classroom are smart enable. Sports facilities are average
Admission
I apply to a few other private universities but choose Dr. MGR University for it reputation, fees and convenient location. The admission was merit based no entrance exam. The process was smooth and eligibility required a graduate degree
Faculty
The facilities are approachable and knowledgeable with decent faculty student ratio. Exam are contacted each semester and are moderate in difficulty. Most Student clear them. The curriculum is related but need more practical exposure
Night Life
Nightlife around campus is quite. Cafeteria closes by 7pm, library 6PM. Hostel have a curfew around 8PM. Student Hangout tea break cafe near. The location is safe but most public area shut early. Limiting late night option.
