Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculam was well rounded. it included diverse topics like political theory, international relations, world politics. . the curriculum is highly relevant for future academics- PhD, or assistant professor. the course can be amended for better opportunities like role in civil services, public policy etc exms took place every 3 months and were not very difficult for someone who studied well
Internships Opportunities
political parties media campaign managers, google, teach for india, adobe gave paid internship. projects were political campaigns, teaching for vulnerable kids and ngo, making tools and designs, managing social media campaigns etc
Placement Experience
students go for placements from 3rd semester. companies like google, adobe , political parties media campaign managers visited. highest salary is 2000000 and lowest is 20000 0. but percentage of students getting selected is low- 10-20%
Fees and Financial Aid
i paid 3000 for 2 years masters 2000 for college fees, cation fees, registration fees, admission fees included in 1000. I was general category student fees was same for my batchmates. there were various scholarship for science students. but not many for arts student like me
Campus Life
festivals were amazing. rezendevour was the name of annual fest which involved many eminent singes and performers. it also included a lot of competitions. classrooms were very basic often lacking basic hygiene.
Admission
i applied for central government colleges like BHU and JNU. i chose this college as it was well reputed and offered great faculty. i couldn't get through the entrance of JNU because i failed the entrance exam. in my college you can either get admitted byy your marks in graduation, i you were in the same university and subject, or you have to give an entrance exam
Faculty
faculty to student ratio was highly skewed. there were 300 students for 1 teacher. faculty was mostly approachable, . faculty i liked were- shweta mishra, puja singh maam, lung sir. they were approachable, helpful and open for communication. faculty i didn't like were sanjeev sir as he was very biased towards some of his students and talked only to him'
