Remarks

If you want to. Pursue m tech, I will suggest you join a college that allows internships.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum has been changed since 2018. The new system has continuous evaluation. So the student has to submit assignments every week. It becomes hectic, as compared to other colleges that do not have such a system. Other than the assignments, you have regular exams as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement is good. Form tech students, almost everyone got placed. The ones who remain unplaced are the ones who were either not sincere towards coding or had some ego issue that they won't sit for fewer packages. The average package for m tech is around 8 lpa. You will get enough opportunities. However, you need to compete with the b tech crowd, which is really brilliant.

College Events

4

There are a lot of events celebrated all year long. The college fest is known as effervescence. This time Sunidhi Chauhan had to come, though she canceled it at last minute.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fees: 50000 Mess: 12000 Hostel:5400 (double occupancy) 10000 (single occupancy) These are the major ones. The rest are either one time deposit only or varies with the semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. Hence I cannot describe how to avail it. Thank you.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is not as exciting as other colleges, simply because the students are very less in this college(because of it an IT college only). However, you get used to it, and it is not much of a problem. There is no place nearby for hangouts. The college is situated in outskirts of Allahsbad city.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very strong. This college is known for the coders. That is Nit a problem. The seniors are definitely helpful.

Admission

I qualified gate 2018. Because of low marks, I couldnt get admission in the first 3 rounds. So I sat in the NSR(spot round), where you get admission if any seat remains vacant. The whole admission process was controlled by CCMT ( Centralised Counselling for M.tech)

Faculty

3

The faculty is Ok. Its better than the faculties of tier-3 colleges. However, you still have to study on your own most of the times (which should be fine). Do not expect much from the faculties. Few faculties are very good. They will push you to the edge, so that you learn a lot. Others will be highly lenient. It varies.

Admission:

The first process of admission was to have qualified in GATE. Thereafter, students were shortlisted and a written test was conducted. Around 500 people were shortlisted for the test out of which around 40 qualified finally. The quality of research in my field is very high at this institute, which was a prime factor for me while deciding to join. Also, inputs from seniors about the faculty members and their motivation inspired me to select this college for pursuing my Post Graduation.

Campus life will be very much fun with some idiotic rules for extracurricular activities we have labs and we can participate in many of the fests sports we have cricket ground football ground indoor stadium and tennis court in terms of sports festival we will have two events like Colosseum and one internal event. There are tech and cultural fest every year in which faculties as well as students can participate.

I cleared GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and scored an All India Rank 368 with 96.6 percentile. My first choice was getting into IIT-Kanpur/Delhi etc because they had the best rankings in India. However, I was not able to get into these institutes. I then applied to IIITs which are next after IITs and I was successful in getting into IIIT-Allahabad which was ranked at 8th in India.
